Just take the Xbone version and make it permanently 1080p, there's the PS4 version.

DriveClub looks amazing. Yeah it can look bland sometimes but when it's at it's best I don't think I've seen more impressive graphics.

lol what's funny is that the people cherry picking screens where the cars seem to cast no shadows at all is authentic to how it happens IRL. The director even went outside and took a picture to explain how it happens.

Well I guess we can talk about this at the end of next year then.

I'm not sure why. I was only pointing out why it wasn't clever. As opposed to the situation where it was used for Titanfall.

I think it was pretty clever in the fact that people have to wait an entire year for something already released, I'd find that worse than it never coming because you actually have to wait the time until it does and anticipate it.

Photomode looks worse than gameplay.

Also, lol at a lot of shadow comments. Shadow effects are often overused.

Well no because photomode adds better draw distance and texture filtering. As well as downsampled AA. I think what you mean is DriveClub looks better in motion. Because seeing the clouds change formation in real time during a lightning storm really is just about the pinnicle of graphics on any platform. It's insane.

Yeah it's got a mad good lighting engine. So accurate that it doesn't try to artificially make things look appealing because in reality, sometimes things don't always look pretty. Honestly of all the 'mediocre' games that have released this gen, Driveclub is certianly the best one. It's not like The Order which has no redeeming qualities, DriveClub is actually one of the most immersive racing games you can play.

NFS 2015 looks better than Driveclub, but DC is no slouch though. It still looks impressive in some areas.

But saying The Order 1886 is the most photorealistic game is just BS. They're mostly filled filters and special effects and hides the ugly details in the background. And it's so linear that it doesn't have any other thing to process in the box. Even Battlefront looks more photorealistic that The Order

Do you even know what photorealism even is? Uncharted definitely is not. Anyway, DriveClub is the most photorealistic game to date...it's just amazing how real the game looks in rainy weather.

Mind posting one of those games with an actual HUD? They look like actual console games during game play. That's not a good thing, and for the record - good anti-aliasing/super sampling > Bloom.

Edit: I would also argue that console games can't look photorealistic. 1080p is much too low a resolution, never mind many games running at 900p or lower.

They are gameplay shots just with HUDs turned off and a slight change of camera angle in photomode sometimes. The graphics are the same throughout.

The Order looks like a blurry mess.

Any game that uses a camera for augmented reality can look very photorealistic. Certain aspects of Reality Fighters for the Vita look extremely realistic.

Sega's Yakuza series doesn't seem to get enough credit for its photorealistic facial graphics tech:

@gpuking: they are just being willfully ignorant. its already been explained to them a thousand times that there is no photomode in the order. you can turn on or off all the filters and play the game that way too. the screens you see here are EXACTLY how the game looks during gameplay. i await the inevitable idiot herms to come post their 720p screens from a youtube video proclaiming its how the game really looks tho.

My PS4 must be broken because none of my games look like the bullshots the TC posted. I just got the Order for $10 PSN and the only thing remotely good is the character models. Drive Club also does't look like than unless you are in photo mode.

People like you are the only ones here who would be bored enough to waste time creating alts, your life must be really pathetic. Grow up, maybe then you would find a girlfriend.
