The great summer drought of 2015 - what will you be playing?

The only big game coming out this summer is Arkham Knight. Otherwise, it's a pretty barren wasteland in the video game world. I figured this would be a good time to catch up on some old games. Right now I got Alien Isolation, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Dragon Inquisition. Of course I'll be getting Arkham Knight too. What about you, SW?

Probably gonna catch up on a bunch of PC games I missed.

Probably TW3 and may come back to Inquisition when i got a new gpu. This time around i won't be doing boring af side quests in Inquisition and just finish the story, tho.

Ill probably be playing Heroes of the Storm and Splatoon a bunch. Will try and beat a few games im working on also.

TW3, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, The incredible adventures of Van Helsing 3, xenoblade chronicles X, Batman arkham knight, Carmageddon Reincarnation. Just at the top of my head, that has just come out, or releasing in the near Futute, I think I have enough games on my plate for the summer O.o

Chronicles of Mystara, Battle Mania Daiginjou, Alien Soldier, Gley Lancer, and the Misadventures of Tron Bonne will be taking up the majority of my gaming time for the next little while.

Catching up on a good deal of backlog, plus Arkham Knight.

Currently running through the Master Chief Collection. Finished Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 3 these past two weeks, now I'm in the middle of Halo 4. Love that game.

Still trying to finish up Bloodborne and The Witcher 3. I imagine I might move on to Dark Souls II after Bloodborne is finished, but that might not happen immediately, I might just be burned out on the formula to want a break for a while.

Been playing the witcher 3, and im sure I'll be playing it well into the summer. Fifa 15 will be played and outrageous amount As well.

Samurai Warriors 4, Splatoon, and Witcher 3.

Although some sort of crappy but they look fun games are coming out in June and July I'm interested in like Onechanbara, J-Stars Victory, and Lost Dimension.

Witcher 3 is gonna take awhile, followed by Bloodborne, Shadows of Mordor, and mayyyyybe a DA:I playthrough will be my focus for most of the Summer. I've got a couple RPGs in progress on the Vita to finish up when I need a change of pace, and I'm also committed to playing ESO on PS4 with a couple long time friends (heavy heavy sigh), so those should fill up the rest.

I've been a huge fan of Rocksteady's Arkham games, but after the delays and the lengthy list of dlc, I'm skipping it until the GotY version comes out.

Witcher 3 for the time being, then the Batman. hopefully will be getting a brand new PC some time after that so I'll be checking out some of the newer games I've missed.

Still trying to finish off Symphonia Chronicles. After that I'll give Pillars of Eternity another go, maybe the combat has improved somewhat with all those patches. Wasteland 2 GOTY and Divinity OS Enhanced will also be coming as free patches; been waiting since last fall to do another playthrough of Divinity.

This will be the summer of Splatoon. I also plan on picking up many of the 3rd party games I've missed out on and maybe, just maybe I'll pick up Smash. Maybe.

Lol, I'm taking my time with it. I play like 30 minutes a day, man, and there are weeks at stretch where I don't play it.

This is the first time I have played a Souls game beyond the halfway point too, and I am glad that I saw this through.

Have a pretty big backlog, still haven't started The Witcher/DA:I for the PS4, I still have a ton of PC games backlogged, then I recently plugged in my PS3 and started playing God of War 1 for the first time ever.

14 unopened PS3, 6 unopened PS4, 5 unopened Wii U, 2 unopened Xbox One, 2, Vita, 8 unopened 3DS games in my backlog. Those on top of 122 Steam titles. I really need to slow down.

Just got a PS4 this week....I have a whole list of stuff to keep me busy.

I still have a backlog of games to get through, that includes stuff from this year like Cities Skylines, Pillars of Eternity, Hotline Miami 2, Ori, and we have Shadowrun Hong Kong in August. July might be a stinker, but I might actually be fine with that.

Besides usually the summer has some surprising indie/under the radar releases. Hopefully Killing Floor 2 and Toxikk are done with Early Access. Shit Splatoon should be out of early access in August as well.

Re-playing Xenoblade Chronicles, playing The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Dragon Age Inquisition, Splatoon.

Working on 007 Legends and Mario 3d for WiiU, Master Chief Collection and Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox One, trodding through Destiny till Arkham Knight and Battlefront III for PS4.

Probably going to get back into Guild Wars 2 for a few weeks to mess around with all the changed and new content before the expansion. Working on a 2nd playthrough of PoE as well. Might try out some strategy games that I've got but haven't played much of like Age of Wonders 3 Or Civ 5, and then try out Galactic Civ 3. Also gonna check out some of the episodic stuff. Kentucky Route Zero's been on my Radar for a while and I think it's either done or mostly done. Life is Strange is about halfway done too so I'll probably start getting into that.

I never understood the connection between no games coming out and gaming drought... Its implying that everyone has every game released. Makes little sense.

I will probably buy a game I wasn't going to buy at full price or just didn't have the time to get when it released. Hell if the Steam summer sale has a good enough offer on Evolve I might get it and I'll probably pick up Battlefield Hardline. Also I have pretty huge backlog... Currently playing The Witcher Wild Hunt which is a 100+ hour game.

I hear ya. I've been playing BB alot lately, and after I beat it I doubt I'll have the stamina for a NG playthrough or DS2. I've been stuck on the Shadows of Yharnam boss fight for a couple days now. Some time away to collect my sanity is in order.

Looks like many will use the time to tackle their backlist, as should I.

Splatoon actually releases in August, so there's that.

Most likely Elite Dangerous, the Xbone version, which is due this summer.

I still have plenty of great PC games to play but I'm currently enjoying The Witcher 3.
