Ya no joke! :lol: that's what I was expecting to see... But this Area 51 game will be fun but it will NOT be the shooter of the year. Clearly that will be Halo 3 OR Dark Sector.

The only shooter I'm hyped about is Enemy Territory, ET, and RTCW's online were amazing, ... though it is dissapointing about that quake stuff.. i wish they had just let them do what they wanted .. awell...cheatymcshifty

I hope it doesn't got out-shadowed by Halo 3 and Unreal Tournament 3, its going to be a great game for sure. 

so far, the best FPS of the year is STALKER, play it for a couple of hours, if you can run it well. Only problems are the bugs, but everything else is what everyone's been asking for, a completly new type of fps thats different. way2funny

Sure, the environments are big. But STALKER looks worse than HL2:EP1 and has steep requirements.

some parts look a lot better than half life 2, other parts dont. and its not just about big enviroments, its about playing how you want to play, playing with realisism(realistic movement, weapons, etc), not wannabe realism like counter strike and battlefield 2., playing with something that lets you do almost anything from the start, something that isnt linear. Its what everyone wanted in an FPS, something radically different, yet keeps the essence of an fps, but now that its here, people bash it for stupid reasons. The graphics are good, the lighting, explosions and fire are some of the nicest effects in any game.
