TGS Lightning Returns offscreen gameplay

I know system wars has a rage boner for almost anything square related but seriously, this game is looking pretty good. It's everything 13 should have been and more. The environments look good, the characters look good, the gameplay good. SO GOOD!! Yes! Yes! Yes!

The gameplay seems like it may have some redeeming qualities and playing with the timeline structure ala Majora's Mask is intriguing.  Too bad I've no desire to ever revisit the characters and universe of FFXIII.

The industry/gaming media classified it as one. Your opinion doesn't mean sh!t.

Played it at Gamescom, it's really not that good.

Combat is all flash and no substance whatsoever.
Graphics took a big dip since FFXIII as well.

Good god, put this series out of its misery.

I remember when a new FF was a huge deal.  Something to be excited about.  I used to make sure that the first console I bought each gen was the one getting FF.

At least I hear FFXIV is a decent MMO.
