I see no confirmation of a xboned version. It's being assumed like KH 2.8 being on xboned by Gamespot.

Not a Tekken fan really but I was more interested in Tekken vs SF which seems to be taking forever...,,I was in the minority who really enjoyed SF vs TK

Looks good, as usual. Tekken is the shit, I have a couple of friends that actually compete in those Tournaments worldwide. They go to Final Round & EVO every year.

I've always been a bigger 2D fighting fan over 3D tbh. I've never been a big Tekken person, although I own a few due to having many fighting game fanatic friends.

Regarding the OP, I didn't see anyone fanboying over Tekken here in SW in years. Heck, I didn't see anyone post anything about it being exclusive. I'm guessing one person posted it was "exclusive" in some speculation 2016 thread about something else and this thread is a giant response? That's fun. We all get to read some insecurity because of that one person's post about Tekken in a 2016 thread that the most of us didn't read? The other person certainly didn't make a giant "Tekken 7 is EXCLUSIVE to PS4!" thread, so this thread is overkill. Overcompensation for one persons speculation. I didn't see anyone post about Tekken 7 at all. That's why I came in this thread, to read about Tekken.

It's Namco after all and the PS4/Xbone have very similar architectures...

Although upon reading the "article", there is no indication from the twitter on what consoles the game is for. The writer just decided to post Xbone and PS4, but the writer did not post any confirmation of the speculation. This is a good example poor writing and poor source citation. It only ramps up speculation as Namco themselves haven't said anything in that article.

This article's source is Namco Harada-san's twitter and right now Harada has not confirmed anything. If two-three people are so intent on reading one person's incomplete 2016 speculation thread in SW, certainly they can be bothered to click on the link in the OP and see the Xbone was not mentioned once in the citations.

Haven't heard a single person boasting about this game exclusive or otherwise. Did not know it was thought to be exclusive either.

I haven't heard much about it being exclusive....I think maybe one speculation type thread.

Did you read the article you posted, the writer failed to document his sources and just posted multiple platforms without citation. It's a great example of a poor article. Considering you fancy yourself a writer, you should have noticed the complete lack of proper sources and citation, right?

Nothing is confirmed, so it's back to the drawing board. For the record, I would speculate it's coming to both consoles based on how close in architecture the PS4/Xbone are and considering Namco's history, but I understand the difference between speculation and facts. Your OP is and title are posting as if it's facts, but the article is simply incorrect. You have to watch out. People write bad articles on various websites all the time regarding many topics: USSR, Videogames, Middle East, USA, France, Music, Television, Movies, artwork, UK, and even Poland. The devil is in the details.

Three people and a post that corrects the TC is all I see. That's easy to miss if yo don't read every single post in a single thread. @Salt_The_Fries makes it sound like this was plastered everywhere.

The writer goofed, but the citations used in the article today reveal that Namco has not made any announcement regarding Xbone over twitter (at least in this article). It could happen in the future, but as it stands this thread is misinforming.

I haven't kept up with Tekken since I'm not a big fan of the franchise, but I do like fighting games. This is the kind of information I chat with my Tekken friends about. I'm guessing that Namco want to do major kick ass Tekken 7 reveal at an event or something. The platforms are so close in design, it would be a waste not to ensure the game is multiplatform.

Personally, I totally believe this game will come to Xbone, BUT I read that old link already in the OP. It's clear the writer didn't do proper citations for that piece. If he does have a twitter from Harada specifically talking about Xbone, he didn't cite it.

I took a peek going beyond the silly article Salt and you both posted and decided to go to Harada's Twitter. Still nothing.

Bad articles pop up all the time for many decades way before the internet. The trick is reading the articles source's to confirm the truth. This writer and article failed scrutiny (this isn't the first time either, I recognized the writer when I read the misinformation).

I'm with you there. I was never a big Tekken fan, but VF4 won me over for 3D fighters big time.

That game was a masterpiece and VF5 was great too.

If you read it, you would have noticed the lack of proper citation in that substandard poorly cited article posted in the OP and then repeated by you.

My guess is that you read the title and quickly posted a poor article. The problem was the article lacked sources.

Again, please cite your sources for your claim. I already went to Harada's twitter and he does not use the word Xbox or Xbox One on his tweets.

To be clear, I am disputing the article you posted and the OP posted for poor citation. You going to other sources doesn't fix the poor article.
