Only 3 tales game have ever passed the 1 million mark.

[GCN - PS2] Tales of Symphonia - 1.439.000 (GCN 953.000 - PS2 486.000)

[PSX] Tales of Destiny - 1.139.000

[PS3] Tales of Xillia - 1.000.000

I don't get why bamco won't make a wii u version of symphonia HD. Just ook at how much the gc version sold....

Now bring on Symphonia HD so I can wash out the awful taste Xillia left in my mouth.

Namco made symphonia 2 on the wii, and it bombed, then they made graces and it bombed again. I do think it's unfair that the wii u isn't getting this, but i can understand why it's not going on it

Plus, it's selling horribly right now.. so that isn't helping it

Those are good numbers but it´s really japan that makes the numbers big,clearly in the west they don´t sell very well(230k is pretty paltry),hence why the Yakuza series(just an example) isn´t coming to the west anymore it seems,though to be fair I think the Yakuza numbers per game were even lower than these.

The game has only been out for a month in the west.. and yakuza was much lower then this, dead souls only sold 56k in europe and america

Well to be fair,the sales of Dead Souls were much lower than usual for the series in the west,usually the main entries sold quite a bit more than that.

Not the best JRPGs I've played but still enjoyable. Certainly better than that borefest FFXIII. Good to see it's selling well.

Thats really too bad that tales of young girls in skimpy clothes sold so much.

They do a very poor job advertising most of their games that's the main reason so few sell well.

Symphonia was mega advertised and Xillia was decently advertised so I'm not surprised.

Sucks I finally bought Xillia about 2 weeks ago for 60 bucks and saw it in the store today for 30.

Owell at least I'm supported a good series :).

JRPGs are on the rise! :P

jrpgs have always been my favorite genre, was sad to see them take a backseat this gen, specially on consoles, while craptastic games like cod rise to the top.

Hopefully the sales in Europe are enough for us to keep getting some of the Tales games over here. They've been one of my favourite game series for a long time now.
