So it turns out the mysterious unknown Jedi is from the High Republic era sleeping all this time and this is gonna be a good game as we're going to Coruscant! Can't get any better than that. EA has really improved that single-player games still have a place in gaming media for all gamers. Did I mention, dismemberment on Stormtroopers has been confirmed!

(EA has earned a pre-order from me as you all know I love Star Wars)

I was a big fan of FO.... I'm watching to see how this one improves upon the formula of the first. I think it'll live and die by its narrative and ability to differentiate itself from the first game. Here's hoping they nail it!

When i see trailers about this game, i think of another game. What is that game? Halo Infinite. Why do i think of that game? Because Jedi Survivor has a ton of different biomes, while Infinite has one, one biome lul.

I did enjoy Fallen Order and am looking forward to the sequel but I think it being GotY for 2023 is a very tough ask. Hope it turns out great though.

I'm looking forward to it. It would've won a ton of awards had it released last year. This year is so stacked with AAA titles that I'd be surprised if it gets nominated for anything other than graphics.

Just finished Jedi Fallen Order for the fourth time, what a game. I'm in awe by how good it is.

I am a Star Wars freak, and I will be playing this game on release day for sure. I didn't know about dismemberment though! SW FO was amazing.

Same here. With so many heavy hitters AAA games releasing this year, it'll be tough to warrant GOTY contender.

Its from Cringespoken. He has been posting it for the last few months as a way to cope.

I often have high hopes for sequels of new ip that did well on the first release. Sometimes developers go back and really listen to the fans and craft a much more satisfying second dip. That said, sometimes they play it really safe too and it can fall flat.

I coped by buying it and playing it. You should try playing games for once. You must get bored watching YouTube. But the good news is, Halo Infinite got a 9, Star Wars Fallen Order got an 8.

I finished the Halo Infinite Campaign. 10/10 score from me. 9/10 score from GameSpot. Coped.

Ah, so that guy is probably Old/high Republic. Has no concept of The Empire.

As for Fallen Order, I just kinda thought it was "meh". Wasn't terrible, just fairly average to me. Older Starwars titles like Jedi Knight miles better.

But, give this a fair shake.

I played the first game and it was a solid 8/10. I think the fact that they tried to learn from the FromSoft games is the main reason why it turned out to be a good game.

It reminds me of Dead Space, which tried to mimic the core mechanics of RE4, but in a different setting, and was reasonably successful.

However, I'm not sure if this sequel will get as much attention around the GOTY season because there are so many big games this year.

Been considering getting the first game for 4€ on Steam, but I don't care about Star Wars and the reviews seems to be either great or shit, without a middle ground.

Hope so! Between that, RE4 Remake, Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Space Remake, Tears of the Kingdom, Starfield, Hollow Knight Silksong, and who knows what else it's going to be a tough contest.

I think if it manages to improve upon Fallen Order then it's definitely going to be one of 2023's stand-outs. But this year might have a few of those as well.

Impossible to be better than StarField! The only way is a delay except still need to survive the RedFall...

The first wasn't a bad game, but it definitely didn't get me excited for a sequel. Not sure how many more walls I can run on, crevices I can shimmy through, or hills I can slide down. You know... Star Wars.

Can we really credit EA for this?? Its just respawn that is doing the heavy lifting. It's like that game, it takes two, made by hazelight before EA bought them up. The best thing to hope is that EA stays out of the development and sticks to making madden instead.

This game is definitely exciting. Still remember that final boss fight against that chick in fallen order. Must have died like 30 times.

Definitely has the potential to be GOTY. I loved the first game and really excited about this one.

About zero chance for it to be GOTY with Zelda: TOTK coming out. And not to mention Resident Evil 4 remake.
