Star Wars Battlefront 2 free on the Epic store

The Star Wars FPS is free on the epic store to keep for the next 7 days.

Wasn't a huge fan of this game at first, but it did introduce a really fun and enjoyable coop mode.

Last year I redeemed Yooka Laylee and the impossible lair eventhough I already had it because I think the devs get some money for it :)

Either that or they get a one time sum for doing this kind of deal.

@R4gn4r0k: yeah i'd be happy with even just some mindless starwars schlock to tool around with. I love the old movies and books, and so it's just fun for me to get to play in the universe from time to time

Sweet. Came pretty close to getting this for the Christmas sales. Glad I didn't.

I kinda liked the singleplayer, and it had some cool Star Wars locations and lore. But it's far from the best Star Wars story.

Overall it's ok.

Great game. It was free with psn a few months ago and honestly plays best on ps5. Premium entertainment. Feels great with a ps5 controller.

Very peculiar timing with the Ubisoft game announcement even though they announced this free game last week...

@with_teeth26: I could never really get into the PVP multiplayer. But the coop mode is so much fun, especially if you like the clone wars era.

It has such a nice flow of battle.

I personally hope for a Jedi: Fallen Order sequel.

EA would be downright stupid to ignore the success of that game and not make a sequel.

I already own the game on Origin. It's actually pretty good, especially with friends.

It's a good but short singleplayer game paired with a half-assed multiplayer.

But! It's pretty damn beautiful and the singleplayer is fun.

I always enjoyed the original Battlefront's multiplayer way more.

The sequels multiplayer just never felt fair to me. It was less about teamplay, the good players always got hold of the jedi/sith characters.

A lot of the maps just funneled you through small hallways. I never checked the later released maps though.

Probably won't play it seriously or long, run around as a Clone Trooper pew pew for 40 min.

This game has already been given out for free on PS+.

Played it, completed the story.

Recently turned into a proper Star Wars fan so the timing was impeccable. The MP would have been amazing but none of my friends play anything outside of COD/WZ/GTA/FIFA

Just started playing the SP man the gameplay is so basic and dumb but on the graphics side it looks great don't know if it's even worth finishing feels like a waste of space on my hard drive.

Even more fun is running around as a Battle Droid or Droideka :D

Premium 30 fps@1440p. PC and Xbox X kills that monstrosity.

TBH I haven't played droidekas as much as in the original Battlefront II :P

For one they were added in quite late. But yeah, all of the upgrades / Special soldiers in Battlefront II have a certain charm to them.
