YAY!! another franchise that is going to milked and EA see another series as cash cow. DICE routine will be one year battlefield and one year battlefront. announced and release in few months.

this pattern is what i have seen with destiny, assassins creed, COD, BF etc. games that use copy and paste. no development time, no additional work. nothing else.

this title makes me want to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 (the 2005 game)

when game get announce it need additional time to polish and work on game. not like announce in april and release in september. Doom announced at e3 2014 with teaser, shown at E3 2015 as slow paced. fans complain. id software listen and release in 2016 as fast paced shooters. turn into masterpiece.

what kind of companies EA and activisions are who announce and release game on same day??

so apart from EA, ubisoft and activision. all companies are stupid? they announce the game and take time to additional work. yes games are in pre production since 3 years but after announcement it need more development time.

how come star wars battlefront which release in late 2015 is fastly develop and is about to ready to release in 2017?? sure copy and paste. same thing. good games need atleast 4 to 5 years development cycle. not 1.5 years copy and paste.

Titanfall 2 and watch dogs 2 fixed all the problems of the originals and were thanked with crap sales.

Even If Doom announce this year E3 with release date. i would not be interested because for better sequel it need to take time, new engine, new redefine level design and they are id software so i expect sequel in 2019.

but EA, ubisoft and activision have only 2 year development cycle. they have magic in thier hands. thats why thier games are just rehash after rehash.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Prey, & Destiny 2 are gonna be enjoyable, I just love Sci-Fi shooters, 2017 has been a fucking good year with lots of great games to be playing.

@boycie: I know both Battlefront 2 & Destiny 2 are gonna get the hate but I did find myself enjoying Destiny more so then I did for first Battlefront but I do hope both of those games turn out well this year but knowing Battlefront 2, it's gonna be riding the Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi movie hype train releasing this year.

Battlefront is a good game now, after all the free updates and DLC packs, but damn the original game was just so shallow and lacking in content.

I didn't buy it day 1, but all I Had to do was wait a month and it dropped below $30. That never happens! The bad word of mouth completely destroyed the value of this game. I'm glad I only payed $30, and then $30 for all the DLC. At that point the game is worth something.

But if they release another shallow mess just to release before episode 8.....I'm done with battlefront

Bought the first one at a discounted price plus we game share so it wasn't too shabby but haven't had time to really play it, stupid backlog. I'll just wait for this to go on EA Access like the first did within a year or so and I'm good. I love having the option of EA Access and accessing all these EA games that are good but I may not want to commit in owning.
