Sony's PS3 Disappointment Timeline Continued

Funny after all this Press The PS3 is Sold out everywhere, Also alot of those had to due with software isssues which can be resolved easily


Sega Only made games and they all sucked, Sony makes Computers, Laptops, Tv's, PS3, PSP, and Blu ray players. There a multi billion dollar company there not going anywhereGloverD

Sony has had a tough year.  A lot of that stems from the media bashing the PS3.  Yes, those executive comments were arrogant but in all honesty, do you care about what execs say or do you care about games?  I for one am getting a PS3 as I like the exclusives that are MADE for Playstation like Socom, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, and GTAIV (I don't care if it's going to the 360).  All in all, this shows nothing more than kids jumping on the bandwagon.  That's all it boils down to.  People jump on the bandwagon and are followers by nature.  But honestly, why do you guys want M$ to take over the gaming industry?  So they can take over the world?  I'd much rather have Sony control the gaming industry than have MICROSOFT of all companies to rule gaming.  Whatever happend to the whole "Microsoft sucks, Windows is lame?"  Oh yea, I think that got lost when the new trend came around, the lets-bash-Sony trend.

I TRULY want Sony to succede just so that I can prove all you people that just jumped on the bandwagon wrong.

While it's not all of Sony's fault, they have done little to apologize for their delays and arrogant statements. It's a bad trend that they've started, and the more they continue the more we'll be seeing article after article on Gamespot.....day after day about something else they've done to flaw the PS3's image.

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of flaming cow responses, but hey that's expected. I can understand their crankiness b/c I know I'd hate to be in their shoes atm. Hopefully Sony will have some sort of eye-opener to the amount of distaste they've started among gaming consumers, and will get back to what they used to do best.

And to add to the list, the patent Sony just recently filed to make a wiiMote type device for their console.

Sony invented this 10 years ago but felt we weren't ready for it, but now they think the world is ready and decided to file the patent. At least that's what they'll say 2 years from now. Well that, and that Nintendo stole their idea, like rumble and analog sticks

Oh, and lets not forget how how ken kutagari made one final press relase about the blu ray being removed because they thought HD would win. then he got fired and Sony denies it ever happened.

same thing as last time. Ps2 was not all that attractive when it came out but sony eventually and magically made a smooth transition from ps1 to ps2. I'm sure when they are done sucking the life out of ps2 they will hype people to buy a ps3. Unlike xbox and gamecube the ps2 is still alive so I guess thats why Sony didn't lose their head yet. Thats why Sony keeps saying they don't care.ff7isnumbaone

Great post by the TC.  No direct bashing just cold, hard facts.  It mirrors what others have said, but I didn't know about some of it, like the rootkit stuff.

its all about money.. Remember what ms did in PS2 vs Xbox time, they paid alot of people/employees to go on forums and game site 2 bash the ps2 and say that they just got one and they're dissepointed and how much they wished for an xbox, when they got caugh by the media nobody opened their mouths, everybody like to hate on the biggest u know, but when comes to real talk they all planing to get one when their favorite games is comin out, so spare us from the bs and just wait for ur fav game to be released..
