No wonder they want to branch out of console exclusivity. Network Services alone accounted for more than retail and almost the same as hardware sales.
Software and services is where its at. No wonder Epic is trying everything to become a thing like Steam.

I thought it was incredibly low. I wonder what the dates are because say if it's from Dec 2019 to April 2020, 6% would make sense in the context of the virus. If 6% is consistent across a whole year than yikes. I can understand them wanting to move to digital completely.

Software digital ratio during Q4 FY19 (Jan-Mar 2020) : 66%​
Platform royalty for retail game at least used to be like 7$ per game, so under half of what sony makes on psn, plus sony takes the 30% of every dlc/microtransaction(forknife etc printing sony a lot of money). Without dlc/micros etc the difference would be smaller, still the digital revenue from games would be significantly bigger than retail because of the money made per game
