Sony Shadow adds ALLM to PS5

those of you with a PS5 and a compatible display have a new feature

My TV adds a bunch of post-processing steps. I I don't have game mode on, games are basically unplayable.

Cool, but I already have my X900H set to game mode and it already switches automatically when I switch between my PS5 and tv services... so I'm not really sure what this actually does. Happy for those it helps though.

Is ALLM helpful at 30fps?

or only at 60fps?

Do you actually play any PS5 games at 30 fps though?

Haven't yet. I kept from playing so many PS4 games until I had a PS5 so I could enjoy them at 60fps.

Horizon: Forbidden West is kind of a mess though at 60fps. I remain hopeful Guerrilla is working on a fix.

as some with a series x and a lg OLED didn’t you notice it’s always had this?

So that explains why I’m getting a new message on my TV when I turn on the PS5. I never experienced any latency issues to begin with.
