Sony has the best new IP's this gen

Lets see if anybody can top this :)

PS: I used Resistance 2 and Motorstorm PR because I prefer the boxart, the originals were new to this gen

Kind of agree with LBP, but the platforming isn't very good due to the 3 planes.

Resistance 2 and Motorstorm = Meh for me.

Do you mean 1st and 2nd party? or any new ip that is exclusive to a platform? if that's the case, i think not.

I think most of those are easily topped by No More Heroes, Professor Layton, Brain Training, Trauma Centers, Phoenix Wright(well.. outside japan), and The World Ends With You to name a few IPs only on nintendo and new this generation.

EDIT: alright, so just games published by one of the big three? Well.. it's still debatable. Brain Training, Rythm Heaven and Prof Layton are nintendo published i believe. Alot of what we've seen from Nintendo otherwise has been sequels.

Take out crackdown and i agree. Though most of those are PC games too so that might not persuade some. too bad, those are some good games!

It's been a great and refreshing feeling to be sure ...... and you can throw in a radically different Warhawk than the ps1 game and a Killzone that is leaps and bounds better than the original and plays and feels different.

It's good that they're trying, but none of them interest me. If you ask me, Resistance has the most potential to continue on and become an actual series.

The TC was talking about game companies by mentioning Sony, not game platforms. MS is a game company as well.

Well i forgot about the PSP game, but is it actually related to the other 2 games in it's story, etc? I guess it doesn't have to (see Mario) but that was the way i meant it.

I have an interest in all of them except for Resistance.

Where is Folklore? Demon's Souls? White Knight? I know the latter 2 were'nt reviewed yet but they can still be played by anyone with a PS3.TheGrat1

I like Folklore, but the only one of those three that I think people in general will consider to be great is Demon's Souls.
