Not what i was expecting from 'next generation' hardware, but, powerful or not, WiiU is obviously the first next gen console.

lol I'm getting CoD:BO2 on Wii U because a) my PC is crap atm b) the only way I would play an FPS is either mouse/KB or wiimote IR

Gamestop charge the preorder to my credit card yesterday.. Excellent, I Can't Wait. Nothing is better than a new console.

It's not the End of this generation, it's the beginning of a new generation but not the end of the current Gen, the current Gen doesn't end till the stop seeling the Ps3, Xbox 360 and Wii.delta3074

So this gen is "NEXT GEN" to you because the PS2 is still selling? So what do we call Wii U? NExt-Next Gen?

I really want one myself, there is no advertising or anything about it, I'm looking at sites everyday but no new info comes up, still so much we dont know about, is the Online free still?. Anyway, I see it as the start of the next gen.

I imagine that the Wii-U sales won't be as good as the Wii's, but still very good.

I don't think I've seen one ad on tv yet for it and IRS coming out in 6 days, this thing might flop harder than the 3DS. I think I will wait for the real next gen consoles to come out so I can play Rage 2, Doom 4, proper ninja gaiden, next gen multiplat that wii u won't get. Nintendo really have botched the hype train here all they had to do was show an epic trailer for metroid Zelda or f zero, but instead we get 2D Mario and p100 or whatever it's called.GotNugz

the Wii U will have the best version of Ninja Gaiden, don't expect a hardware gap next gen like there was this gen, The Wii U sold out within too days of announced pre-order availability with Gamestop having 250,000+ people on a waiting list as well. The Hype will come.

Ubisoft is also supporting the Wii U like crazy, with most of the launch titles being from them.

zombieU looks awesome, Nano Assault, the Wonderful 101, TANK! TANK! TANK! looks fun, Bayonetta 2, and Wii U fit will be a popular title as well, all only available on the Wii U

Nintendo's Trademark IPs will come next year to keep the hype going.

Can't wait for the Wii U, I'll be getting it in a month during Holiday sales. I hope there'll be some good deals going around.

I'm not excited for the Wii U. It will be interesting to see how it does beyond the launch period though.

Well I'm not excited for the Wii-U but I hope it sells well. If it doesn't it could mean trouble for the console industry as a whole.
