Even if they announce it, you're probably looking at another 3 years till it comes out.

Take 2 wants Rockstar to make smaller games that they can put out more quickly.

There have been various leaks that GTA 6 is in development. I don't expect a GTA 6 announcement/trailer until late next year, in the 4th quarter of 2021. same as RDR2 (October 2016) and GTA V (November 2011).

So a 2023 release date.

10 years after GTA V

5 years after RDR2

Yeah sony even admits they had deals for timed exclusive for some games in its PS showing for a launch exclusives.

And I think it's reveal will be epic and a console buy must have for many PC gamers than any GTA before it and probably much, much larger in scale. I just hope they set the location to be anywhere other than the USA this time. Maybe even include a city based on Dubai...that place is drop dead gorgeous.

However I have reasons to believe that it's probably going to take place around Texas/Mexico and storyline based around the Cartels in either modern or 80's time period but I hope I'm wrong since that stuff is overdone and I want to see something really fresh in GTA.

Like Square Enix is going to make an exclusive for any system and that too a next gen system only.
