Sony : Demon's Souls Remake sold more than 1.4 mil. copies

Bluepoint and PlayStation have worked closely together for years, but the news comes after the studio's latest successful release, as Sony confirmed Demon's Souls has sold more than 1.4 million copies since release.

Awesome for a hardcore niche game and low install base. Also, Demon's Souls is regularly on Top 20 PS Store US/Canada/Europe since launch, so, more than a 10 months

Bu bu but Demon's is not selling😭😭😭Wrong again, sheep and lems. And guess what? This is the kind of games that will be steadily selling for years, because it looks good and is interesting to those who have never played it.

Kudos to Bluepoint. I really enjoyed the original game and this remake looks excellent. I very much look forward to playing this game myself when I get a PS5.

1.4 million? I thought games had to sell at least 30 million just to scrape by these days.

1.4mil in sales is probably a good chunk of profit because a remake is nowhere near as expensive to create than a brand new title.

But did it sell 1,5 million ehh? On a 8(?) million user base, I guess that’s pretty decent! If I ever get a ps5 I might buy it, play it for 2-3 hours and never touch it again!

I really hope some day to see Demon's Souls Remake also on the PS4....it will sell a lot more.

bluepoint really did a good job of remaking this gem. but i enjoyed returnal more and im a big souls fan.

More than 10% attach rate is really good ratio.

Demon's Souls and Returnal are the games I want a PS5 for. I loved the ps3 version and this looks to enhance the experience.

I would also get R&C RA but that would be a bargain bin game for me

Awesome.... haven't played the game as not up my alley, but great news & hopefully Sony will reward them with an original IP to work on for our PS5's next.

Wonder what the numbers for Days Gone are like now it's on pc?...I would have thought that game would have done 1million+ on PS4 alone!

O wow, Sony made a lot of money on this game. AAA games need to sell over 5 million copies to make money. But this low budget PS3 looking indie game only need to sell close to one million and Sony is rich. Sony smart.

@Macutchi: Lol, Sony fooled them suckers. That’s 500k wont be buying another Souls game. Can’t blame them though, not much else to play on PS5.
