I can believe the Cell being 8x more powerful than other processors,IBM(I can trust them) said it was 10x more powerful than the most powerful processor,back in the day...dont know how far back exactly though.The RSX part,I definately dont believe.

I think so. But they changed it a little bit. I'm not sure if it was less or more powerful then that. I've heard people saying both.

The RSX is a higher clocked G70 (7800GTX) with half it's bandwith (128bit) and the Cell is more powerful than desktop CPUs only in certain tasks such as number crunching (thus it's huge success in F@H). With regard to gaming performance it's pretty much equal to current high-end desktop CPUs.

Did you ever consider that Sony might be the reason why alot of people bash the PS3?  Their lies, unfulfilled promisses, EU delays, game delays, etc... to be fair it might be Sony's PR department to be blamed.
