Sony Announcing Something Big on Tuesday

It's got to be a price cut...

A Big announcment? That sounds like either a game, an update or hardware upgrade, or the long awaited price drop.

Kotaku hates Sony ..... and Sony dislikes them. I would be very cautious about hyping something Kotaku is going on about.

Please I wish they would go ahead and drop the price to stop all the rumor threads.....If they dropped the price compared to how many rumors there has been the darn thing would be free.HarlockJC

Hmm, I'm keeping my expectations firmly rooted to the floor. Doubt it'll be anything major.

It's either going to be a new controller, Yakuza 3 hitting the states, or a new special edition Blu-ray movie. (And if you all know what's good for you, you'll floor your expectations likewise).

They are going to increse the price of the PS3. :P

I really wish people would stop hyping these announcments. They are for the most part always lame.

If there is a price drop, I'd expect $50 at max, really anything more and I'd say you're lying to yourself. I also expect a PSP price drop, there hasn't been one since 2007, it's time for one I'd say, especially if they're going to introduce another model, it would be smart to have the regular PSP and then the new PSP model out later this year, kind of like the DS/DSi strategy.

With Sony's renewed interest in their handheld I wouldn't be surprised to see a PSP-4000 and price drop announced. Maybe at E3. :)

Yeh, its got to be a price cut. But I dont care, I already own a PS3 which I bought for 300 quid so I dont care, I'm just contributing my thoughts on what it might be. I mean, after all this time, a price cut was due and it will atract more people into buying the console. Sony are beating Microsoft again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Proboly a price drop. Noone should get uber excited. Save that excitment for E3 thats what im doing.
