seemed fair.. he didnt substract points for the current server issues since they are obviously temporary in nature..

yea, i've really enjoyed the Socom franchise (well, Socom 1 and 2) and Confrontation continues in that mold..

Oh yeah, I remember them saying that. They had a list of the top 10 consoles of all time and the 360 was number 1. Good grief, even the majority of Lemmings didn't agree with that.

I couldn't really comment on the game, haven't played it yet. But I do agree that the game should have points subtracted for temporary server issues.ONLYDOD

why would you base your permanent review score upon temporary server issues that are sure to be resolved in the coming weeks after launch?.. issues that wont even be relevant to consumers who didnt purchase the game within the first 3 weeks, yet will be reflected in your final review score for months and years to come... doesnt make much sense to me..

the developers are saying that they are consistently seeing almost 100,000 people log in everyday with peaks of 25,000 simultaneous users.. that's huge for a game that released a few days ago.. and obviously with that kind of immediate load, they are having server issues at launch.. based upon these issues and how they currently affect your experience, you may give the game a 5/10 score.. which is a terrible score.. but do you really think that this score is representative of the product that consumers will be playing once these obvious issues are resolved?.. no.. and that's why all factors should be taken into consideration when reviewing a game of this nature..
