So with the news about Unreal Engine 4 on Wii U, that now makes..............

So basically that makes.....

That are officially not supporting the Wii U.

''Luminous'' if this engine runs on ps3 and xbox 360 why can't the wii-u run it? considering this console is a bit more capable. to me this is about money and not hardware.

If you bought it for first party titles only you're saying the wii is only good for it's first party so that would translate to that the wii isn't on par with the other two consoles if it's not going to play to the same standards in order to compete so then pretty much the game is between sony and microsoft so then the wii wouldn't count in that sense would it? Why is anyone surprised?

Wii was close to Xbox power and didn't get the next gen engines, Wii U is close to 360/PS3 power (albeit more powerful, but in a time of diminishing returns that extra bit of power won't do much) and won't get next gen engines.

If it DID get next gen engines, then that would be a surprise. And the lacklustre sales aren't a good incentive to put in the work it would take to get these engines on Wii U.

Sony 1st party is pretty damn good. Much better than M$. That along with better multiplats this time is what should make the PS4 the best overall console next gen.
