So whats your most wanted game for the rest of 2020?

So what are remaining games you are anticipating for rest of 2020?

since Doom Eternal released and turn out to be by far best of 2020 along with Black Mesa, now im looking forward to other titles like age of empire 4 which will be grand return of RTS, looking forward to Halo infinite because its first Halo to be not to be console port but simultaneously on PC in mind. but depend on if its SP oriented or not. looking forward to System shock remake if it deliver and also XIII remake. looking forward to new Batman game by WB which rumored to release this year, also looking forward to Dying light 2.

but the actual game that im mostly anticipated and most wanted now for 2020 is

Cyberpunk 2077

Whats not to like about FPS/RPG set in the world of sci fi cyberpunk? its closest thing to Deus Ex we are getting this generation and Deus Ex 1 is still best game ever. thing being first person will bring immersion since dev now confirmed that they remove entire third person cutscene and everything now in first person. by that expect better controlling than witcher. beside that Cyberpunk is also the most ambitious game i have ever seen. nothing like this happened before in that scale. and for that this will be best game made by CDPR.

so after Doom, Cyberpunk become my most anticipated title of 2020.

Cyberpunk, donno, fairly apathetic towards it. Pick it up but prob not sploog my pants like other people. CDP previous games have all had issues.

its a respawn game.

they made one of the best SP FPS this gen ie Titanfall 2 and best third person action game this gen ie Jedi fallen order.

they are treating it as spinoff so hoping respawn will make traditional WW2 shooter in future.

I'm most looking foward for cyberpunk 2077.

Since you named 15 other game I'm going to name other games too.

Dying light 2, that is near the bottom of the list but its still on the list and I think I will buy it at some point. Bloodlines 2, they don't have a release date yet. Maybe, they might delay it idk. WB was going to announce three of their games, what I'm looking the most out of those three is the harry potter game someone leaked a few years ago but first I need to know what the game is going to like so I reassess the game.

Hmm, let's see. I'm kind of looking forward for beyond and good 2. Also, moint and blade bannerlord. They don't a have release date yet but probaly have wait a couple of years or more.

Right now, Streets of Rage 4 and Carrion.

CP77 and FF7R are my 2 most anticipated. Honorable mentions to RE3 and P5R.

Ghost of Tsushima has my attention. I'm hoping that there will be an updated PS5 version similar to that of Pro game upgrades. If there's not a PS5 version, the PS4 version will be purchased.

If I wasn’t so fatigued of open world games it would be cyberpunk and Ghost of Tsushima. But I’m just going to play linear games for a while, so it’s the last of us 2 for sure!

I want to get both Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU 2 day one, but I have this nagging feeling they will announce the definitive edition (4K/60) 6 months later.

I don't really buy games anymore. Last one I bought was Far Cry 5 and I didn't even get far in it before quitting. I have plenty of games in the backlog.

Halo infinate for me. A true AAA game with a new engine on a new generation of console, at no cost beyond Gamepass.

Cyberpunk has my interest too.

For me, its easily Cyberpunk 2077 I want the most out of 2020, and follow by The Last of Us 2 & Ghost of Tsushima.

Streets of Rage 4. I can't tell how much I'll like it, especially in a post SoR Remake and Sonic Mania world, but it is the game that I want to try out the most.

As I have understood it Ps5 will be backwards compatible. Soif you get them on ps4 you should be ableto play the 4k/60 version too? Well at least in theory, let’s see how sony plays it.

Most COD/MOH games are non-interactive, super linear go to the glowy thing shooting galleries. If anything VR should make it more interesting by default.

I imagine they are probably seeing Alyx right now and thinking, "oh shit".

MOH hasn't really been good or moved the bar since the first few games. So here's hoping this is at least a fun distraction.

If I can get a good MP game out of it as well, without EA bullshittery, great.

Halo: Infinite for me. It would have been Final Fantasy VII Remake but I’m waiting for the Xbox Series X version.

By respawn they could have made something like allied assault. of course they are super linear and VR wont change that. but still. respawn make great level design.

I took nearly a two year hiatus from gaming, so plenty of stuff I really want to play. After exhausting Doom Eternal, will probably move on to DMC5. Then of course there's Nioh 2. Haven't played Sekiro yet either. Plenty to keep me busy.

Nothing that I really need to play. I will pick up FF VII Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and a few other games at some point next year or the following. I am enjoying my backlog and other hobbies for now.

The Last of Us Part II. I'm expecting -

• Brutal and satisfying gameplay
• Brutal and beautiful world
• Great characters and banter
• A memorable journey and memorable events
• Great production values and immersion
• Post-game conversations and debates about the story and characters
• To replay the gajme and get the platinum
• To watch 50+ different playthroughs (or key moments) by youtubes/streamers to see how they react to things

I guess these would be my most anticipted for this year minus Elden Ring because not much has been shown yet -

It's hard to say for me until Nintendo reveals what they've got for the rest of 2020 (I'm hoping a 3D Mario game is coming - that would instantly be my most wanted game).

But from the games that are already announced, it's a toss up between Bayonetta 3 (hoping it's coming this year), Sports Story & Halo Infinite.

Doom Eternal the best game of 2020 with 'Doom' in the title. It's not a bad game but light years from the masterpiece you keep claiming. It's hilarious looking at glowing reviews where they talk about things they hate then ignore them in the final score. No bias there then. It's Doom 2016 with cut-scenes and scarce ammo that completely interrupts the flow of gameplay at all times. Yeah, it's a classic then. lolz.

Most anticipated is Elden Ring. You never know it might just pop up for the holiday. Anything could happen. Outside of that, nothing. Cyberpunk might be amazing or it might be a futuristic Witcher 3 and drown you in content 90% of which is completely meaningless. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

Halo Infinite: after Halo 5 I trust literally nothing coming out of 343. Expectations are currently zero. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm sure MS will be cracking the whip, this is their big 'buy Game Pass because of this thing' title. Yes, MS are literally reduced to that these days.

I would love to see a Dragon Age game this year. Without multiplayer, without microtransactions, actually just without EA. Yeah, never going to happen. Oh well.

@ghosts4ever: Yep, it's all about cyberpunk now. It's going to set the new standard for open world rpg's and everything that follows will be compared to it - such as Bethesda's Starfield and Elder scrolls 6.

I'm even looking forward to just seeing what kind of pc specs it requires and how my ageing computer will handle it!

Then since you mention it, I suppose Dying Light 2 might be up my alley. I'm also somewhat interested in Serious Sam 4 and of course then there's Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2.

As for System Shock remake I have zero interest as it's just too dated for my liking. I was looking forward somewhat to System Shock 3, but when I googled about it's progress let's just say that it was quite a shock indeed!

Have you tried the demo on the peasant system? The amount of recycling this game has gotten is incredible. Since Tecmo Koei is in charge, they have given this game the Dynasty Warriors treatment. Maximum laziness. But since the combat system is great, its still worth playing, but it could've been soooooooooooooooooo much more.
