The game was both a failure and a success to me.

Still one of the finest and funest new IP I've played this gen.

Titanfall was a blast, I'm looking forward to the sequel. But on a PC, not a gross ass console.

Titanfall was one of those rare cases where the PC community died off way quicker than the console community.

It won't even be the best FPS from EA this year. Battlefield 1 will shit all over the clones Titanfall 2 and Infinite Warfare.

As someone who bought Titanfall on PC but favors PS4, I'm interested to see if they improve on some of the problems I had with the first game. Right off the bat I always thought the game should have had single player, the series has so much potential for a great campaign with it's fast paced wall-running/platforming and mech action. So it's nice to see they gave it a single player this time around. But as far as multiplayer goes, I really hope they ditch the whole "AI grunts" crap and just have real players. The bots were honestly pointless, just a distraction to make the maps not seem empty. If they ditch the bots and increase the player count while making Titans harder to get, I'll definitely consider buying this. Also they should definitely add in some more guns for the pilots this time around.

in that case battlefield and soon to be titanfall 2 should not score more than 7 because of tack on SP. especially BF SP. but it doesnot count while Doom a primilary SP series since its inception count as MP game too. Dat freaking logic.

Titanfall 2 looked like dog shit. Are still using that garbage source engine. The campaign is gonna be awful too.

It could be the best Multiplayer fps, Titanfall 1 is very very fun.

Using Frostbite Engine would've made the game sluggish, EA was right to use Source Engine again this time around. Definitely looking forward to Titanfall 2 this year, on PS4.

There is nothing rare about that, a lot of under the radar stuff or like genuine classics stand the test of time on PC, but the "next triple A multiplayer game", dies quicker on PC, and always has.

Titanfall was awesome fun. I still consider it one of the best shooters on consoles this gen. Too bad it wasn't embraced by more people.

Because the game had absurd aim-assist for the gamepads, on top of having a low skill ceiling. If the aim assist wasn't there, it wouldn't even be close.

that game was all about the movement and outsmarting people. its kind of like overwatch. twitch shooting skills are mostly irrelevant in those kinds of games.

Fam, please, it was basic twitch shooting and positioning, overwatch is actually a game of team comp and matchups.

Another call of duty wannabe with fancy looking mechs, no thanks.

Maybe lems will actually talk about this one after a whole month's passed post release, especially after hyping the first one ever since its full console exclusive announcement to the stratosphere.

But finally the game has single player, so at least it's upgraded from being insta-trash to actually on the radar at least. Won't be touching the MP, so will be getting this cheapycheap.

Titanfall's multiplayer is second to none. Titanfall was just lacking a campaign to make people fall completely in love with it.

Titanfall's 2 is the most anticipated game on my radar. The PC version this time, of course (I played the original on my kids' XB1)

If the mp was so great it wouldn't have died within a month. A campaign has no effect on how long people play the mp.

There were a ton of kids running around and shooting people without aiming by using the smart pistol. That's why I quit playing after just a couple of weeks. It was infuriating.

Now though, Titanfall is amazing. They gimped the smart pistol, and people rarely use it. Have you played it recently? I think it's amazing.

My only complaint is that the mech's don't make enough bass when they land and walk. My subs should be shaking the house. (Not clipping my speakers, though)

TitanFall was cool and a solid proof-of-concept, but after dropping $60 I felt like something was missing. I will buy the sequel, albeit at the $25 mark, not $60.

The thing that pissed me off the most in Titanfail was the 2 min timer between matches. Also the lack of weapons sucked.

Still looks lame.

While I prefer BF over TF, I will say that this looks far more interesting to me than any COD as of late.
