PC will still be getting the best version of multiplats and more exclusives than any single console.

no doubt, just seems the gap between PC and console is shrinking, and the added hardware advantage of PCs doesnt have much room to expand, or at least not in a manner that will be easily recognizable to gamers.
Â
Idiot console gamers said the same thing 2005. And look at the situation now. Please stop being an idiot, and join the rest of us in reality. The SAME thing will happen next gen.
Â
Games on PC will be consistently 60+ FPS vs only some times 60 FPS on consoles and never above that. If you want 60+ or 120 FPS, PC will be your only option. Games will be consistantly 1080p + (1440p, 1600p and later on 4K will become more and more common) on PC, and only some times 1080p on consoles. If you want to do 1080p ALWAYS and if you want to do higher resolution panels or multiple panels, or the rift, PC will be your only option.
On top of all that, PC games will start to feature full, dynamic global illumination, even higher resolution textures and better texture effects. Better shadowing, larger view distances, better fields of view, more AI, more object/3D mesh detail, more particle and physics effects, etc, etc, etc.

It's the same story every new gen.
Â
consolites: "What's the point of a PC now that x gen fo consoles is coming out? Graphcis are awesome!"Â
Same consolites 3 years later: "GRAPHICS DON'T MATTER ANYWAY PC ELITISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Â
PC Gamers: HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
Â
Frankly I don't know how a complete market segment could be so idiotic, or clueless. Is it that these are just new console gamers, who weren't around in 2005? and don't even bother to investigate how the last gen turned out vs the PC?
