For me its gotta be Final Fantasy 4 its got fantastic music and just a great RPG

Its not as good as 6 but its a pretty epic FF game and I thought it looked great on the SNES I still prefer it over the even the better looking PSP version because nostalgia.

It would have been sweet if they could have done a FF5 english which wasn't released in USA for SNES and has the job system

IMO you just gotta get the SNES Mini for the SNES controller's best controller of all time man remember street fighter 2 on that controller > arcade man

I'm going to go with Chrono Trigger even though I already have it on the Wii U and PS3. Some others that I really would have liked are:

- Demon's Crest

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

- Final Fight

- Breath of Fire 1 and/or 2

- Gradius 3

- Axelay

- Sparkster

- Legend of the Mystical Ninja

Oh yeah man great stuff there they should have thrown pilot wings in there since nintendo even made that one easy to put it in there. Final Fight and turtles in time yes please

Does anyone remember going to funcoland and seeing like 3 SNES's with turtles in time playable was my first SNES game I bought with the system with my Dad I remember going OMG it looks like the arcade turtles game and the gameplay was even better.

Chrono Trigger.

Imo the best jrpg ever made to this day. Despite showing its age. (The racing bit and the first factory feel realll bad and old by todays standards. Some of the characters like the catgirl will make you roll your eyes today.) But I'm a big fan of its story and characters and innovations in the genre in terms of combat, the story overall and its build up, and the choices you can make. I would seriously play through it again if it was on there.

But I hear it's in licensing hell. So an official version would have been impossible. Once they jailbreak the mini SNES I will put Chrono Trigger on there immediately. It's the first thing I'll do.

FF6 is on there, said to be close to Chrono Trigger tier (which I doubt, but ok...). I never played it, and now I definitely will.

FF4 and Chrono Trigger come to mind right away.

im a sucker for donkey kong country 2 and 3 great games. Megaman 7 i thought was trash compared to the X games and the NES games. I'd have preferred Megaman X2 making it in there though.

Only played that on an emulator, super fun racer though. I would have loved that and TMNT + Chrono Trigger.

FF II and Chrono Trigger

Yeah super mario All-stars is missing too.

Super mario bros 3 is one of the best games I played on SNES. And I feel the enhanced sprites just make them better games to be honest.

That's four grave omissions for me(along with axelay, dkc) What a shame !

As someone who's never played Chrono Trigger, I'd have liked to have finally been able to see what all the fuss is about.

Failing that, I'm legitimately shocked that DKC2 isn't here, and to a lesser extent DKC3.

Chrono Trigger easily.

I think what bothers me most about its absence is that every other big JRPG from the SNES is present (Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, FFVI, Secret of Mana), so why not include what's arguably the biggest and what many consider the best?

The lack of FFIV and DKC2 doesn't bother me that much TBH since we already have FFVI and the first DKC.

They made a DS version of Chrono Trigger which is supposedly the best version of the game anyway- you can get it for around $20. I'm in the same boat as you- I'll likely get the DS version sooner or later so I can finally experience the game. Unless it comes to Switch's upcoming Virtual Console Netflix type service...

My first instinct was to say Chrono Trigger because I know the game is top 5 in almost every SNES list- but I remembered there is a DS version. I'll likely be getting that so I can finally experience the game.

When I really think about it it's Donkey Kong Country 2. Would have felt so much better about the purchase if that game was on there. Super Metroid and Yoshi's Island mostly make up for it, and I'm still looking forward to playing all those RPG's on the list for the first time.

Seriously though- I would trade half of that list for Donkey Kong Country 2 lol.

The list of games isn't a big deal to me since I'm going to buy the SNES Mini as more of a cool collectible item just to display on my shelf while I continue to play SNES games on my real SNES console, but some of my favorite SNES games that are missing on the SNES Mini are:

• Donkey Kong Country 2
• TMNT: Turtles in Time
• Sunset Riders
• Zombies Ate My Neighbors

Actraiser... Its one if the best games of all time.

I figured they'd screw it up, but man was I hoping.

Also, final Fantasy 2 (4), but I won't complain because 3(6) is there.

FF4 and 5, but 5 is understandable since it was never localized, and Chrono Trigger. I would've loved SMB All-Stars too.

I had SFC, it was Japanese so I didn't understand anything, but I remember having All-Stars. I had that, Mario Kart, SMW, Chrono Trigger and a FF that I don't remember which.

Turtles in Time, **** the jrpgs.

I have a feeling Chrono Trigger isn't present is because of licensing issues with Sqaure-Enix.

At this point, given how the prices are ballooning already, I am likely not going to get one. It would be easier to just invest in a new PC at this point and do my own emulation.

This plus the Star Wars Trilogy, Chrono Trigger.

Licensing issues aside, the most glaring admission would have to be Pilot Wings - no reason for it not to be on the system.

Some of the other titles people are mentioning (Mortal Kombat, Sunset Riders) were better on Genesis.

It's kinda lame that they didn't just include the whole DKC trilogy, or atleast 2. 3 is just OK anyway. (Same could be said for FF and MM but those aren't Nintendo titles) Oh yeah, and also Pilotwings on the Nintendo side.
And it's missing a beat em' up, could've used Final Fight 3(picked over FF1 because it has co-op, and over Turtles in Time because like hell they'd pay the licensing for that).
