Skyim is not only the goty or the gotg.... it's the GOAT

After 100 our of play I can easily say that as long as you are not playing the PS3 version, this is the greatest game ever created.

same linear dungeon. different design, but same process, same outcome. you go in, you kill monsters. that's it. 150 dungeons of nothing but repetitiveness.

lame guild quests. at the end of the day, every guild leader dies and you replace him. what a "unique" experience for everyone.

more time spent walking than fighting enemies. lame.

bugs bugs bugs glitches bugs glitches glitches.

marriage and other "features" in Skyrim are nothing but crap just so Skyrim would appear to have this many things. no depth whatsoever.

facial animations look pathetic, animations in general are clunky. voice acting is mediocre at best.

Got tired of it after killing the first dragon, took a break. Bought and played To the Moon, was blown away. Never went back to Skyrim.

Err Best Game Of All Time can never be judged. So many different opinoins who played games at different stages and times ect....

I don't see how a game with average combat, Poor writing and repetitive quests can be called the best game of all time.

I can understand a console gamer thinking this, its not often you get a game, especially a single player game thats packed with this much content and keeps you playing as long as Skyrim does. As a PC gamer though im no stranger to masses of content like this.

To me Skyrim just feels like im playing Oblivion with dragons, and with the infinate ammounts of content available for the PC version of Oblivion, iv played too much to really enjoy playing it again with dragons. So the game isnt even RPG of the year to me. The Witcher 2 is my personal GOTY.

I'm 70 hours in and the game is definitely a GOTY contender but GOAT ? Thats idiotic. The game may be great but it has far to many problems to be what you make it out to be.

If you go off scores you might as well go off the general consenes of the gaming media. Sure some sites might be biased but generally you will get a much better idea.

I played MGS4 in late 2008 and man i will say this with complete confidence in no way did it deserve a 10. I mean how the....did it get best graphics over crysis when i was playing it on ultra ill never know.

One of this gens best games and a HUGE HUGE HUGE step up from Oblivion and Fallout3, Bethesda is back! I was a huge fan of Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind from Bethesda, but F3 and Oblivion I had alot of issues with, Skyrim though? Bloody awesome.

TC is over the top, but you're the opposite extreme.

Skyrim is neither GOAT nor "lol that sucked". It's much better than Oblivion, and also builds on some of Fallout 3's good points (some... Not all. F3 doesn't have regen, for the better, for instance).

I've already got over 20 mods installed, and I'm having a great time playing this... Which is quite some praise, given the fact that just before, I was playing through TW2 again, and before that, having another go at STALKER.
