Should Microsoft acquire Asobo studio?

Sure and Plague Tale took me by surprise as well, really enjoyed the game.

Let’s leave these weird games on Sony. Makes it easier to avoid them.

They should keep being independent but I wouldn't be surprised with a MS acquisition.

I think they would make a better fit with Sony as A Plague Tale fits well with the Playstation library. Glad to know a sequel is being made.

MS has a production nightmare on its hands as-is. Plus I don’t see Asobo moving the needle, just partner up with them on a project and see where it goes.

You Sony fannies are sure obsessed with acquisitions. The only reason you are playing the game is because it is independent. But for some reason, you think the studio should be acquired.🤦‍♂️

Nah, I'm not usually a fan of acquisitions in general. Creativity gets killed of when Corporate figureheads step in and start making profit margins the single most important part of the game.

Leave Asobo the **** alone, for ****'s sake.

Yeah, Plague Tale Innocence is pretty awesome on XSX. Feels right at home on Xbox for sure.

It doesn't appear like the studio needs it right now, with how A Plague's Tale did and the new one coming up, they appear to be pretty self sufficient.

But, as a fanboy, I would hope if anybody got them, then I would hope it would be Microsoft.

Yeah. Why not? I'd like to see them dedicated to sprucing up FS for the foreseeable future. We didn't have FS for a long time, and now it's back and should stay that way.
