Should I buy a Gaming PC, PS3 or 360?

Last time i had posted this in general gaming discussion... so here it goes again:

Hi guys im going to buy a gaming console/pc shortly along with a hd tv - and was just wondering .. whats worth buying more?

A gaming PC

A PS3

A Xbox 360

People have been saying the ps3 is too expensive stick with the ps2 or grab an xbox 360..

So yeah, what DO YOU THINK is worth buying currently? looking at the games line up and future games to come.

I have a gaming pc and ps3 , so I can suggest you only one of those , and that'd be the ps3 .I'm lazy to post the reasons but it would follow the commom sense line.

meh, though I'd get my 2 cents in on this one. I think if you can afford to buy an hdtv and a gaming pc, you should opt for both 360 and ps3. I kno i kno, you don't have to spend millions on a gaming pc, but what you'd spend on a pc in general, esp. a gaming one, that you'd spend on both a 360 and ps3 wouldn't add up to the price of pc (both gaming and non gaming). But of course that all depends. on the other hand, games are cheaper on the pc, but in my opinion not as varied as those on consoles: they give you more options. Anyway, with that being said, I stick to my suggestion, both consoles and hdtv. You'd end up spending about the same if you went for the pc.

I have a 360 and although its the cheapest and has the most games they are rigged to die after like 3 years (Damn Microsoft) but has brilliant games.

Ps3 best graphics but I have also heard problems after 2 years and there aren't many games out but the games are worth it.

I advise PC however it depends on how good your PC is. some games will keep you entertained for months some will be terrible, but pc games are cheaper then console games.

Unless you really want to bring up cases that imply that the Vampire Rain games on 360/PS3 are "quality" games as well as the multimillion seller Carnival game on the Wii. Simple fact is that what he said can be applied to any platforms games.

I'd say a console if you like putting a game in and playing, PC if you like extras ;)

Probably partly my fault. I got what you meant though. I'll keep in mind that you use sarcasm for the future. ;)

If you want an easy way to play the newest games and multi with people in the same room, get a console.

If you want a more solitary but beefier game experience, upgrade your PC.

The best gaming experience that can be summed up in two consoles is PS3/PC. PS3 gets games like GOWIII/MGS4/Uncharted/GT5/KZ2/Heavenly Sword/Resistance 2/Motorstorm/LittleBigPlanet/Ratchet and Clank/etc, with Blu ray aswell. PC gets you everything you miss out on PS3, with much better quality everything, and discounts and such, also with backwards compatibility. Judging your scenario, get a gaming PC only. Definatly go for xbox360, it only costs 199$

Also it gtes FF13, DMC, RE5 etc from PS3, Fallout 3, Alan Wake, Mass Effect, Dragon GAe, Witcher, Two Worlds Temptation, KUF2 etc from PC and its own stunning exclusives like Fable 2, Star Ocean 4, Gears 2, Banjo 3, Lost Odyssey, Ninja Gaiden 2, Halo Wars, new Rare-Lionhead games etc etc
