Should Bethesda's Indiana jones be First or third person game?

Whether you have a GoPro strapped to your bonce or nailed to a drone chasing behind your arsecheeks is completely irrelevant to me, as it should be to normal people.

I want it to be a pod racing game.

I would be very surprised if it is not third person. Indiana Jones is an iconic character. People want to see him on the screen. Also, Indiana Jones is known for big stunts and fighting. So, this also translates well to third person.

Do you think it will be third person, but there will be a option to switch into first person like elder scrolls and Fallout?

I don't really care to be honest. I like 1st and 3rd person games. I'm not one of these that see's either perspective as a deal breaker and get all weird about it.

3rd person would be my preference though.

I think the whip works best in third person.

I think MS has enough 1st person games I would like it to be 3rd person.

Third person and make it play like Tomb Raider or Uncharted.

Doesn't matter what perspective it goes for. Game design is more important. FP is fine if it plays like Riddick and TP is fine if it plays like PoP. Most probably it will be TP though and a copy of UC/TR.

Third person. It will facilitate the (inevitable) platforming sections of the game like Indy climbing on ledges and crossing chasms using his whip. And you don't just feature Indiana Jones as a protagonist and then hide him behind a first person camera.

An Indiana Jones game should be a third-person adventure/platformer with very little gun play.

However, if Machine Games is more comfortable making it a first person shooter, they should just go ahead and do that. Most important thing for the game to be is fun.

I know with some people though being one or the other means excluding it from any consideration entirely. Thankfully I am not afflicted by whatever ailment of the soul these people are tormented by.

Indiana Jones should easily be a 3rd person game. It should be more of an action platformer with traps, puzzles, and quick reflexes and not just a ton of mindless shooting. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it needs to fit the bill.

Its probably 3rd person. They are gonna have to do something with his whip and that won't look good in a fps.

Of topic but I never understood why Uncharted is considered a movie game but Gears of War isn't? They probably have the same amount of cutscenes and gameplay.

3rd person, I want to see him interact with all the natives protecting their relics with close up brutal kill animations.
