S-horror you want to return: Fatal Frame, SIREN, Dino Crisis or Eternal Darkness

Four horror IP's which seem to have vanished off the map. If one of them were to make a grand return, which would you rather have it be?

from those either dino crisis or eternal darkness. but what i really want is resident evil back to its roots. and a next gen silent hill in the mold of the old ones.

Fatal Frame without a shadow of a doubt. That game was scary as hell for me. S-Horror was dead for me until Amnesia recently. Now i want more.

Would like to see a new Fatal Frame game that actually comes outside of japan. A new Eternal Darkness, and Dino Crisis would be nice too through.

Oh well. Will have to make do with Amnesia. Fatal Frame was one of the few games i was truly scared to play on my own in the dark.

I loved Eternal Darkness. The story and sanity effects in particular make me want to buy a wii/gc and track it down to play it again.

An HD remake of Fatal Frame II would be amazing.

So true. So many people call Dead Space, Resi evil 5 etc Survival horror games. Like we all keep saying. Thank goodness for Amnesia, can't get anymore survival horror than that game.

I Cant wait for dino crisis 3 , the orginal dino crisis was realy scary and used dinos , it was a new thing and part from zombies or slimey spooky things .

but second one was just a shootem up game

Fatal Frame IV was released in 2008. In Japan only, but it still exists.

Anyway - Eternal Darkness for me.

Dino Crisis for sure, granted I am not sure how "survival horror" the game would be.

The jump from DC1 to DC2 was way ahead of it's time and I feel it really was the beginning groundwork for the change that would happen to the RE series with RE4.

DC1 and DC2 were such great games and it is a total shame that Capcom has let that series to rot after completely botching the 3rd installment. If they simply took the series and incorporated the new fangled RE gameplay it would be incredible and bring VERY tough competition to the Dead Space and RE series, potentially surpassing them.

Quite frankly I want a DC4 before I want an RE6.

I would also love another Fatal Frame game if it could be as good as 2 was. I never got to play 3 or 4 but 1 was very meh after having started with #2...

I would go with Dino Crisis. I love the Dino Crisis franchise and I was always hoping they would make a good sequal. We also need more dinosaur games this gen.

would love a new dino crisis for sure. part 3 was ass, but the first 2 were brilliant.

Resident Evil... I mean, a REAL Resident Evil, not that RE5 crap.

I would also like to see a New Clock Tower game.

Fatal Frame might be my 2nd choice, but after seeing a video of the 4th title recently, I wasn't impressed.

I want the classic Silent Hill to return. By that I mean it going back to the way it was with parts 1-3. I also desperately want Dino Crisis to return!

Oh, and if Dino Crisis wins, SOMEBODY really needs to send this poll to Capcom.

Fatal Frame IV got released last year. And I loved Dino Crisis...until they broke it on the xbox...

But Fatal Frame is my favorite survival horror game series.

I feel like it's inevitable that Capcom will bring back Dino Crisis. It's just a matter of when and whether they'll show it the respect it deserves.

If SIREN made a comeback I think I might die of happiness. :(

If they do bring Dino Crisis back, I hope it goes back to the arcade style of DC2. That really worked well. Maybe throw in a few survival horror elements like what RE4 did.

I was piss that it wasn't coming to NA, but after looking at it more yeah it didn't look impressive. Controls don't seem to be great and I heard the game was buggy.

More than buggy, it seems uninspired and lacking a level of polish that the PS2 games had. I've recently been thinking that maybe I'll just buy a Wii a long time from now if I go to Japan, and get games like Fatal Frame IV but now I'm not sure I'd even want to. Which is disappointing, considering I've really enjoyed this series in the past.

I need to try Fatal Frame 2 sometime. I played through some of FFIII and enjoyed it, plus I like ghost stories. Pretty scary too.

Out of the given choice I would have to say Eternal Darkness, just have a different feel to it compares to the others.

Fatal Frame scared the crap out of me, so definitely that.

You didn't get to the real ending. I think there are two other endings. Read all of the archive files (and try to find ones you missed). The point of the game isn't just to get to the end, but to discover the story.
