Gotta say, i was wrong. I originally thought the casuals were gonna jump on it just because its new and cheap. Reality is, when the system is surounded with negativity on all the social media, even the casuals that don't know shit and can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p will not buy the system. Social media is the best marketing now, and if your system blows, you're fucked.

Why they didnt make this as powerful as the x is strange.

Because the idea was to create an entry level next-gen console that could undercut Playstation by any means necessary, even if it meant gutting the specs. Which is hilarious considering Sony came out with a digital model for 400 bucks that has better performance than both the X and the S.

When they said "cheap" it means 2021 where the Series S will get the following:

Massive market price cut through frequent sales in US. Xbox are usually super cheap frequently. Down from MSRP several times a year. Great discounts during holiday season.
