Seiken Densetsu 3(that's Trials of Mana for you non-weebs) is coming, are you excited?

One of my favorite games from the SNES. The remake of Secret of Mana was a giant pile of trash but looks like they actually put some effort into that one. Still kinda looks like a low-budget game but a hell of a lot better than Secret of Mana remake which looked like a mobile port.

I shouldn't be this excited because Square in the 2010's couldn't get anything right and it just got worse by the 2020's but one can hope right?

Can Square just skip to the real best Mana game that is Legend of Mana? Just enhance the graphics with AI image sharpening and repackage it for modern consoles and pc (minus xbox for some reason).

I don't have great expectations, but the ones who played the original say that that one is the best one, so I'm curious about it.

Legend of Mana could have been the best if the AI wasn't so braindead and the game so damn easy. They put in all these cool crafting systems and the moment you touch any of them, what little challenge there was vanished.

Seems like a good point to address when Square decides to do the remaster work. The main point of Legend of Mana is about its story and art design which both were fantastic and holds up well today. Do need some HD treatment though due to the art design and world don't do well in 16:9 ratio.

That's an odd response to a valid observation. MS needs to work on insuring that ALL third party games that can be found on the their competitors ecosystem can be found in their ecosystem.

Unfortunately IP, the game TC talking about ain't coming to Xbox either.

Great game with an epic soundtrack. Really enjoyed it about 20 years ago.

Hopefully the soundtrack will get the remaster it deserves.

It's very likely that I'll grab it. The question is.. will I grab it at launch? It's Nintendo (that I will get it for) so it's not like the price is dropping anytime soon... so yeah, I'll probably get it at launch.. lol

I'm really into collecting for the Switch right now. I think it might be my favorite console to collect for since the NES/SNES which is awesome :)

There are so many short print games and English translated games since the console is region free. All Nintendo consoles need to be region free moving forward. It isn't good for my wallet, but it's cool as hell from a collecting standpoint. I have a list a mile long I want for the Switch. There have been a lot of great games I have missed out on in the past with Nintendo since I don't read other languages and the games were region locked.

On that note, Nintendo is killing it, and the Switch is making a run at being my favorite Nintendo console ever made. I didn't think it was possible to dethrone the NES/SNES, but it's getting close.
