they better polish up the PC version first before they even think about moving onto a PS4 version

also it would make a good launch title to preload onto the PS4

give gamers the false consumption they're getting a "free" game with their PS4 :P

I play planetside 2 with an Xbox 360 for couch gaming sometimes I do fine but however the average console gamer sucks even on their own domain, I managed to destroy a bunch of Xbox kids in CoD on the Xbox 360 and they all started calling me a cheater, camper, and etc :D :lol:

Yeah, its been dominating for over 4 years now, same as GDDR6 will next year.

Planetside 2 should work well on PS4 after a but load of optimisations, I hope they add cross platform play though :twisted:

On a side note: Isnt it funny how once again a PC game that console gamers claim they arent interested in, suddenly becomes interisting when theres the posibility of a console release?

He actually said a straight port wouldn't be any fun. I expect a Playstation 4 version of Planetside 2, not just a straight port.

The direction they are taking with the menus and a lot of the UI stuff they've previewed for the future wouldn't work well with a console.

The sky high prices just to get more weapons was ridiculous.

Maybe they could add controller support for the pc version, because i am all for kb/m but i am gaming from my bed and that would be very uncomfortable. As for this coming to PS4, great news now more people can play it.

Cause it only seems to work on in game and not on the UI

Give me the mech suit, a pretty evironment, way to customize my mech suit, a good in-game community and I will be sure to play that game. Oh, and make it f2p with microtransactions that fit my (afore mentioned) gaming habbits in such a way that I do not have to spend more than $60 (over the life of my owning the game), please.

Not surprised in the slightest, except I expected them to announced it during the press conference.

With PC common architecture, I think Sony will be more MMO conciense with the PS4. Surely they'll release EQ3 on it too.

The game sucks.

Planetside 2 got an 8.5 on GS and 9.0 on IGN.....

I guarantee these clowns saying "meh game sucks" have never even played it.

It's a Sony game si it makes all sense. Just hope the console version is still free 2 play and has cross platform mp between PC and PS4!

Wonder if it'll be crossplatform play, that would be so much fun...for PC gamers anyway :P
