Rocksteady new DC game is rumored to be reveal this friday

Interesting. wonder what it can be.

Some people think it could be Suicide Squad game actually and to me, I didn't think the movie itself was the worst coming from DC, it was rushed right out the door and the execution was very disappointing.

Totally agree with FF4 reboot. Can't believe I wasted my time and money on it. Oh well, can't win'em all.

Somewhat interested in seeing what this game will be like. I like the Batman and Superman stuff but I’m not really a big fan of most DC stuff.

@davillain-: heh was lucky enough to have my plans for seeing that in the cinema cancelled and once the reviews started rolling in I was happy to wait until I could stream it... did see SS in the cinema though:/

I don't want a superman game would rather another batman.

Batman is massively over saturated at this point.

But because money, money money, it probably will involve him or Superman.

Personallly I don't mind Superman, he's just a really difficult character to make a third person for game without gimping or confining him in some manner.

Because you know, he can do this -

Batman beyond. It better be that cause WB shot down the movie idea and I know rocksteady are huge batman fans.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be good.. I trust Rocksteady.

I'd initially say a big "no" to a new Batman, but Beyond deserves a solid Rocksteady try. Jeez, that'd be amazing.

I'm going to take some guesses of what this game could be.

Analyzing.....

Since the game will be called Outlaws, it could be about Red Hood. When I think about the word outlaw it reminds me of red hood since he is kind of an outlaw. There is a comic series similar to the name of Outlaw. The premise of the comic is about Red Hood trying to find redemption from his crimes. It makes sense because the main antagonist of the game, Arkham Knight, was Red Hood. So, I think this will be a continuation of the batman series.

This is just speculation but I hope I'm right for sake of this post.

The city doesn't look futuristic, highly doubt it's Batman Beyond.

Like 99% sure it's not... Though, one can dream. Plus, i'm not sure how the title would fit. Could be this.

Not going to happen but imagine THIS scenario:

Rocksteady open world Judge Dredd game.

If we see some sort of political motivation and/or limitation in terms of violence, then i'm not interested. A full-blown JD, that's not over-the-top (outside of being Judge Dredd,) for the sake of it... Yep. Definite yep.

They're pretty overrated IMO.

They have been silent for quite a long time now that you mention it. I'd take a Justice League game. Not sure how they'd go about doing it, though. Would all heroes be playable? If so, there's a chance the game wont be as good as it could be, and that some mechanics are half-assed and whatnot. Would you control the whole league at the same time, as a squad or something? To that I say meh. I never like controlling squads in games. Would they jump from character to character during the game? Hope not, I hate doing that in games.

Personally, I'd love to see them tackle TMNT. I believe Rocksteady could make a really cool TMNT game if they tried.

Yeah, the **** happened to that? They leaked a HP game, it looked amazing. First time a HP game looks really cool, and people got really excited. And then complete silence.

The Turtles aren't as many as they are in Justice League and they are very similar to eachother as opposed to the very different heroes in JL. The turtles would be the same character with different weapons, basically.

@Litchie: there is Avengers game coming by square enix and will sell millions since its avengers. It wouls make perfect sense for rocksteady to dominate DC in games by releasing Justice league.

Beside i used to be TMNT fan when i was young. Now i wont care about its game.

I say that Superman move is not compatible with Batman move so it won't be Superman.

Anyway, with any of their choice, I'm sure I'll be please and I'm sure it will be good.
