Will EA finally release a star wars game that does justice to the IP?

Do you trust Respawn to deliver, given their track record?

If Respawn doesn't deliver, that means EA was more involved with the production than they were with APEX Legends

we wanted SP focus Titanfall 3 and EA are letting them to make some third person star wars nonsense.

Not excited at all for this one we needed to see stuff already this has been in the dark way too long.

Any chance in high heaven that this could be Jedi Knight 3? .. they have FPS and Wallrunning mechanics down....

They already have Battlefront for the pure FPS experience (though bad... shame on DICE.)

Jedi Knight was 50% FPS, 50% Third Person Jedi ... and its Objective Style Class-based Multiplayer was brilliant... but I'm setting myself up to be burned here yet again. I fully understand that companies like these don't target me anymore. I have a feeling creating and balancing that style game will be too much effort.

@kali-b1rd: I still feel Jedi Outcast was outright freaking amazing. If it's a passion project, we may see something in the vein of Jedi Knight. Star Wars is such a disaster overall, so I won't hold my breath. Last I saw, Disney were pleased with the shit-show EA has given us.

Given Respawn's track record? Titanfall was great, Titanfall 2 SP was great and Apex Legends is great. Seems like their track record is great imo. Im interested to see what they are making.

I loved Titanfall 1 and 2 and although Battle Royale games aren’t really my thing I do see Apex as a high quality game so I definitely have faith in Respawn delivering the goods with this Star Wars game. I’m really looking forward to the reveal.

Should have waited til May 4th 2019.

I got tired of waiting for a decent new Star Wars game to come out, so went ahead and picked up an old Wii with Rogue Squadron 2 and Jedi Knight 2 for like £40.

EA's going to EA it. Don't expecting anything from it. Just tune back in when the game releases. Battlefront II and Anthem should have been lessons enough for you.

EA should let Respawn do their own thing with this one and not **** it up.

If it's another huge flop, than so be it. But I loved the first two Titanfalls and I have a lot of hope riding on Respawn.

Normally I would ignore it because lol EA, but since we're talking about Respawn I'd say there is a bit of hope that this might actually be a good Star Wars game. Maybe. After all these years...

Full priced Star Wars themed Battle Royale chocked full of micro-transactions, pay walls and gambling mechanics incoming.

Knowing EA's history so far, if it doesn't impress upon the first reveal, it will be cancelled.
