Resistance 3 Best FPS this gen

i have played tons of shooters this gen and last gen on all four consoles(ps2,xbox,ps3,360) and i was getting sick of all these generic shooter i wanted to stop playing them but i had to pick up Resistance because the previews reminded me of the first gears of war which i loved to death

but man this has to be the best Single player experience since the first halo.

everything is almost perfect the gun the story the art style the gameplay, only complain i have is the length which is really short.

i recommend every shooter fan out there to try the single player experience,pls put the fanboy war aside and enjoy this master piece btw i m not talking about mp cuz thats just there...

I'm playing it right now. It's pretty damn fun, but best FPS of the gen is kind of a stretch, at least in my opinion.

I need to spend more time with the multiplayer but so far it's campaign is the best I've played through this gen.

The campaign was really great with a few surprises along the way. I haven't spent much time with the MP yet though so I can't comment.

As it being the best FPS this gen? Well that's a stretch. Great, but not the best.

A game with a story that actually has a good..i dont know..STORY. Plus i plead for innovation, Resistance 3 really is 1 and 2 just a little bit improved.

Haven't played the full game, but based on the demo I reeeeeaaaaaally doubt it.

I believe the demo was from one of the first levels. The first portions of the game are basically just a glorified tutorial. It's gets so much better. The pacing, gameplay, and atmosphere are outstanding.

It's not even close to the best... it's just a decent above average FPS.

Hardly the best, but a very good one. The singleplayer was compelling, but not genre-defining like the original Halo and CoD2 and CoD4 were. The MP is great, but other games do it better (see: Halo Reach, Killzone 2).
