The game, a high-definition version of 2002's Resident Evil REmake for GameCube (which itself is a remake of the 1996 original), was announced in August. The game will output in 1080p on Xbox One and PS4.

That's a decent price and sorry for creating a misleading thread some time ago, since I saw some listing at some video game retailer, took it at the face value and panicked.

It's a remaster, not a remake.

hard to believe that Capcom are being reasonable. I was totally sure they were gonna sell the game for $50. And I hope the game sells well so they realize that people want less action but more survival.

Pc version best.

This is more of a downgrade aside from some of the character models being better.

I'm interested to see how the alternative control scheme works (360 movement rather than tank controls).

If the new scheme works great, I'll buy it. But I tried playing code veronica a few months ago and couldn't deal with that tank bullshit. Been too long. No going back.

I dont know. The price seems pretty steep for this game and this is coming for someone whos said many times REmake is the cream of the crop of RE games. Im waiting for a 10 buck or lower sale.

REmake is one of the best games of all time. If you haven't played it, do so for $20. It's a brilliant work of dark digital art, don't leave yourself out...
