Made me lol a bit but I love it, it looks great. I hope they finish it as for me Resident Evil died when Capcom released RE4.

Resident evil 7 give new birth to series. by far best in series and so much better than mediocre action games including RE4, 5 and 6.

@ghosts4ever: I'm not saying 7 isn't good (I haven't played it yet) but I am saying that 4 and 5 are excellent games. I know it's your trolling ways to only like 90s inspired FPS, but that shits gotten old and stale, ships passed buddy time to move on.

As for the game at hand, it looks cool, but there's no way it's ever going to be released so don't get your hopes up.

Resident Evil 7 sucks and doesn't feel like a Resident Evil game.

RE 7 had the worst combat in main RE games.

I loved the old games 20 years ago.

I love the old RE games (and REmake is still my fav survival horror game to this date) but thats just plain false

@Vatusus: Original ones didn't rely on melee weapons.(That were awful in 7) and all of them had more enemy variety compare to 7.

Dodging attacks were much easier with tank controls than on 7.(Which Ethan was too slow in movement)

I really love traditional tank style survival horror but this just seems like it's a fan mod with no serious attempt at being original.. Riding the coattails of RE..

U sure? Cause I remember the infamous "exploit" of being on top of something and killing zombies below with the knife in the old RE games... And I dont remember using melee weapons that much in RE7 and even if I did, it was still better then having no other option when you're out of ammo in the old RE games. Also, the melee mechanics in RE7 were done well so I dont get you're beef with it

Sure you couldnt dodge attacks, but you could block them wich has better results than trying to dodge in the old RE games with constant camera angle changes. Sorry, but saying dodging in classic RE was better than blocking in RE7 is just wearing nostalgia goggles and nothing else

I've no doubt Capcom could try taking legal action, but the team is releasing this for free so I wonder if there's the same power to legally compel them not to do this, I'm thinking at worse maybe they can go after the donations and take down the YouTube videos
