Recore First 25 Minutes of Gameplay

Game is out next week, this for those people who don't care about Spoilers.

After this and M#9, any news of Inafune's involvement elicits the following reaction:

This was one of my most hyped early Xbox announcements.

Looks like a last gen game, sadly. Probably a very low budget. That would be ok if the gameplay excells. It might be ok there, but I hope you can turn off auto-aim because that looks ridiculously overdone.

Some major auto aim. The world looks awesome, just hope I don't get bored with the combat.

Im not feeling it. I dont like how they dictate the emotions. Its like that Uncharted bullshat. I cant stand my stuff being dictated, its a major turn off for me. I guess many people like it as those games are popular.

Same with that Horizon Zero Dawn game, you just want to tell the character to shut the fack up. Plus too much hand holding. But guess will be good since many not use to such complex gameplay mechanics.

Im loving the intensity of the game though. Major plus. If you enjoy intense cinematic type games, this seems to be the game for you. Also pretty cool having the companion experience stuff with as you learn and progress.

Graphic design is not that great though. Lots of poor clipping with stuff. But should be fine for those not focused on graphics.

Sand textures are so bad. UC3 did it better years ago.

I never understood the point of these videos. Why ruin a large chunk of the game by watching the video before it's even released?

Want to play at some point, just not right away. It's $40 to start so probably won't take long to drop in price.

That all looked really awesome. More "game" than the average game these days.

The autoaim makes sense considering all the other mechanics involved.

Tbh, I'm not feeling this game at all. Looks boring, plays boring, and graphically it's not impressive, even by XB1 standard (but neither was Quantam Break). Just look at how she runs or walks, it's almost as if she's "sliding" or "walking on air". WTF? Overall, there's just nothing impressive at all about this game. Looks too repetitive...shoot enemies, pull out core and move on, rinse and repeat.

Hey I could be wrong.

As an adamant Lem, even I have to admit MS needs to push for more impressive, more compelling IPs.

@VERTIGO47: don't really get the run/walk complaint. As for jumping, shifting and moving she has jet boosters on belt and feet.

True she has boosters, but it's her Animation of how she moves that are not impressive. Also, the lack of detailed on her walking on sand seem cheap, no shadows or barely any of it, just doesn't cut it for me. At this point in the XB1 lifespan, developers should already be proficient enough to make an ambitious game like Recore look impressively good. Quantum Break for example was simply a shame. Some good visuals but a lot of bland unimpressive ones as well. But that's just me.

The Xbox platform have always been a powerhouse in the console realm and as a fellow Lem, I expected more from the game and from the system. But I'm sure it's a development aspect, not the system.

Graphics looks like last gen. The desert overworld looks bad, Xenoblade X looks better than that.

Kind of a Lost Planet vibe, no?

@VERTIGO47: fair enough. $40, I'm not really expecting AAA budget assets. I really just hope it's fun and as challenging as I read on ign after E3.

Wow. That looked really good. I think the graphics looked decent too. I'm surprised I liked what I saw though after all these negative posts on this thread. I don't know what you all were expecting. The graphics weren't bad either.

Same. I thought it looked good and people are complaining because it's a "budget" title so therefore it must be crap.

After watching that vid i have decided to buy it, while it's not what i usually play it will make a welcome change from my racing games.

I do more than simply look at them. I won't get into any details, tho.

It's a 40 dollar game.

Funny you mention that game because in terms of animation and play mechanics, it shows right about the same level of sophistication. Congratulations on being $20 ahead, though. It's important.

I watched the first 15mins and thought it looked awesome, graphics look great, love the world and want to find out more about it, why the ai have gone aggressive. Really want to buy this game now.

Ill play the PC version when its cheaper

I saw gifs of some bugs like falling through the floor and crashes. An Inafune (really disappointing coming from someone who loved MM games since I first had MMAC on GC... shut up, it's not a bad version) + Metroid Prime developer co-production...

To see the gameplay? It looks like mediocre gameplay... and I'm glad I watched it to know that. :P

Smh fucking whiners, you don't play games to look at a pretty shinny image. You play a game for enjoyment and fun. Game could be decent in that regard might check it out when it's cheap.

How the hell do some of y'all make it playing games like Mega-man, Binding of Issac, Shadow Complex. Y'all graphic whores are the problem with gaming. Developers " if we just make it look pretty and have tons of pixels, they will buy, doesn't matter if there is no substance"
