I think the TC needs a new pair of pants. A little unwarranted if you ask me. I'm sure the true value of it will be found out over time, not right away.

Boooooooring. Needs a lot of new features, discounts and game trials don't do it for me. But It is worth it for gamer who spend a lot of money on PSN/Store.

PSN+ is the greatest idea ever by Sony, I'm checking out the PS store and they have games like Wipeout HD, Destruction Derby and DLC like the Killzone DLC packs that have little +'s on them meaning if you get PSN+ you get that stuff for free :o !!!GAMESPOT PARAGRAPH PLEASE!!! That's just insane, Live makes you pay to play games you already bought, while PSN+ GIVES YOU GAMES AND DLC! :o !!!GAMESPOT PARAGRAPH PLEASE!!! The awesome is just too strong, MS really needs to get their stuff together. PSN+ is like a discount + rental service + free DLC service. And you know how Sony rolls they'll just keep adding and adding and adding content.TehNubTuber

I ama long time Sony fan...and I think you need to dial it down a bit. XBL still has a number of features, like cross game chat, that while I don't know what the point is, is still something Sony doesn't offer.

Plus, Sony has already said that they won't keep "adding and adding content". Much of this content is only available for a limited time and next months content will replace it. And games like Wipeout are only available as long as you keep paying the fee. So stop paying the fee and you can't play Wipeout, or future full games, any more.

Then there is the issue that all PAY services eventually face; the issue that a successful pay services eventually sucks up things that USED to be free. So if PSN+ is successful, then I can see Sony starting to remove stuff from the free service and moving it to the pay service. This ALWAYS happens.

I'm going to get PSN+ for a bit to see if it is for me or not, but I wouldn't call it "mindblowingly awesome".

It kinda sucks in Canada, no LBP or destruction derby...not much content from what I can see here...as always, Canada gets left out in the lurch.

Nope, only those who get the 1 year will have 3 months free. $49 for 15 months and games and content that are worth over $80 on its first month this is a great deal, i already am a 15 months PSN+ subscriber

It is pretty funny that the phrase "free games" is used. You are paying to get the opportunity to download specific games i.e. not free.

I was never a fan of Warhawk, it looked fun but wasnt for me, the other stuff they offered were cool tho, like Wipeout HD, 2 free avatars, infamous didnt help me cuz i already own it, so far its decent, also free ps1 game and 2 minis which i got for my psp, i would have loved to get a KZ2 add on :(

i like paying MS to pay online games.

You'll actually keep some games and some you wont when you cancel your subscribtion, its more like a renting system, its good tho, you play get the trophies form the games at least and keep them

Dude Sony said they WOULD keep adding content what are you talking about? And With Live once you stop paying the online portion of all your games stops working too... Not sure why your calling PSN+ on that if your such a big PS3 fan and ignoring Live tremendous flaws.TehNubTuber

I'm saying the games they offer don't accumulate. SO they are offering Wipeout HD this month. If you don't download it, it goes away. This is very clearly stated on Sony's own website:

As a subscriber, you can expect to get your hands on free monthly PSN games, minis and PS One Classics from the PSN Store. You will be able to download these games during the month they are available until the new selection replaces them.

So what I was saying is that they aren't technically ALWAYS adding stuff so much as replacing it each month with new choices. But for people who don't sign up THIS MONTH, they miss out.

And no, with XBL, your games DON'T stop working. If you buy/download a game off of XBL, it is yours. Just like if you download a game off of PSn...it is yours FOR EVER. But if you download Wipeout this month as their "deal", then you decide the service isn't for you, you LOSE that game. You can no longer play it. So what did you pay for?

Like I said, I'm still going to subscribe, but I don't see anything that "mindblowing" about it.

Bullocks,US subscribers get 3 months free with the 1-Year membership and we get....LBP :|. Who doesn't have that? Also looks like the games and add-ons differ from one region to anther. Good stuff though.

So inFamous is $29.99? Same price as retail, basically. You would think PSN+ subscribers would get a discount.
