XBOX is bigger in Mexico I am told (admittedly one of the only areas XBOX is)

i'm from Mexico and it's sold out everywhere, my friends can't get one, the official retailer price in pesos is 14,999 for the the disc version, which is around 700 dollars. the price in that pic is 13,999 which is quite cheapaer. i think it must be northern Mexico someplace near the border since the importing or tax has been deduced from the total price, must be an unoffical retailer as well, since there no recognizable markings on the price stamps. Northern Mexico is the poorest part in the whole republic, and i'm talking Fallout level "poor", must explain why the shelves are full of ps5s.

Has anyone said Mexico doesn't count yet?

I traded the ps4 for ps5. So mine gets used regularly. But I know what you mean, no reason to upgrade, as there are hardly any games out yet. At least no exclusive system sellers.... looking at you GT7 🤨

Its actually a good thing too. PS5 coming back in stock meaning stock has finally stabilized for those wanting to buy at MSRP. Unfortunate its in mexico.

Got my ps5 coming in Monday and already have returnal and ratchet and clank on the way as well. Brother actually shipped to me from ps direct. I guess they are just emailing people and giving them a window of time to purchase a ps5.

Well, to be fair ... Mexico has been Xbox territory since the 360 day ... blame on how easy piracy was available on that console from day 1.

Also, this is from Sam's Club which i'm not sure in the States, but here is a membership only store. Also 13k "pesos" is quite a lot of money for most families, keep in mind that some people make half of that at month (like 300 dollars which is insanely low around here). So yeah ... not everyone will be willing to pay that amount of money that easily.

Still, it's a decent price, i saw a PS5 in 18k a while ago in Walmart.

If they were sitting on shelves here in the UK I'd buy one today!
