PS4 Pro worth it?

Don't own a 4K T.V.

So I guess that answers that.

The difference between PS4 and PS4 Pro is barely noticable. I often wonder why the hell I bothered to upgrade, could have got by no problems if it wasn't for my curiosity.

If you like Sony exclusives then yes

myself, I'm waiting until Sony either updates the Pro design, or maybe just use my vanilla PS4 until PS5 releases in hopes it has full PS4 BC, which I see no reason why it shouldn't since I can't imagine the BC limitations between the two consoles will be as drastic as when they moved beyond PS3's complexity

absolutely not. pro support is only good in sony exclusives. 3rd party efforts mostly suck. id only advise a pro purchase if someone is jumping into ps4 brand new

I had this same issue. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford all of the systems and two nice gaming PCs. I bought the PRO to enhance all of the 1st party games Sony has. My Switch is for Nintendo exclusives. I bought an XBONE One S to play 4k Blu-Rays and Destiny with friends. My gaming Desktop has a 1080TI and my laptop has a 1070. The XBONE One X would be redundant for me considering most games are shared with the PC and perform better on it. To me if you have a nice PC the XBONE One X is redundant till more 1st party stuff that takes advantage of it is out. However, if you didn't own a 1080TI I would say get an XBONE One X. So in your case I would get a PRO. Especially if you love their 1st party stuff.

The PlayStation 4 Pro is a big responsibility. You have to ask yourself "Am I ready to become a professional gamer?". If the answer is yes then hop on board because the industry leading, technology bleeding, by the gamers for the gamers mantra is awaiting those who want it.

Are you being deliberately dim? He has a high end PC which not only pisses all over the Xbox One X it has ALL the Xbox 'exclusives' as well. He does not need a friggin Xbox of any description.

anybody just willing to sell their systems on a whim doesn't understand the value of money so not sure anybody can really make a "worth it" argument to such a fickle person, but you'll probably beat yourself up later for not spending the extra $100 the advantages of the X1X, at very least if you go with Pro keep your XB1S and if you get an XB1X then keep your vanilla PS4, get some better mileage out of that 8-series Samsung

Tehe.... TC got it for $19.99 with a free pack-in Movie game? Not bad but I'd still likely pass on it myself. No self respecting True gamer would be caught dead with that...
