'Grasshopper Manufacture's wonderfully weird, formerly PlayStation 4-exclusive, hack-and-slasher Let It Die is coming to Steam on September 26th.

As was the case on PS4, it'll be free-to-play on PC, with a variety of in-game purchase options. Let It Die's PC version will also feature a "silky-smooth frame rate and ultra high resolution", according to the game's new Steam listing.'

They have nothing good to say about consoles yet...are the only group who consistently begs for other systems (consoles) games.

Consolites don't even have to beg for PC's best games because PC devs this gen throw them at us if they're even half way decent, even though we could care less once they're fully available.

Next gen will be even worse for hermits when consoles will have full access to 4k 60fps development. Cheap shovelware gaming will be hermits only saving grace for games, not too dissimilar from this gen.

Nice to have a PC to hide behind when it comes to graphics threads though of course!

Eh, even this gen it doesn't help that much. I've destroyed a whole group of ignorant hermits who were still trying to argue 2015's The witcher 3 was the best graphics to grace the face of gaming in 2018.

Poor SOBs are salves the multiplats because they don't have any other options AAA blockbuster graphically impressive games so they feel required to defend and promote them as the best thing anyone has ever seen because that's all PC gets.

I'm not promoting it as a argument point of anything but I recently just got a gaming PC just to have more games to play, but honestly, if it wasn't for Elu (playing old console games) I'd really feel bitter about the money I spent on this thing, there are 0 high quality AAA PC exclusives games on Steam, Green man gaming or Origin that even on the level of AAA multiplats this gen.

At least last gen hermits had Crysis, this gen Hermits are stuck with the unfinished microtrasaction hell beta scam Star Citizen...when the game finally releases next gen devs'll drop a console port on PS4 and X2 before hermits are done upgrading their cards good.

sheer quantity. The PC receives a veritable tidal wave of games -- many of them terrible, to be sure -- that no other platform will ever receive. Anyone with the fortitude to explore the wide world of indie gaming will find plenty of diamonds in the rough, too many to name here, though Undertale, Kentucky Route Zero and Owlboy, for some. Your helpful neighborhood blogosphere can assist you in navigating that. The PC is the wild and weird testing ground for the games of the future, long before they would ever make it through the hoops necessary to get onto a console.

No doubt not EVERY game is going to hit that mark but it's going to be similar to this gen where 1080p was the standard and majority of what we receive.

We are at a point of massive diminished returns as far a graphics go, it takes a massive leap in power to have games noticeably better than what we see today so it will be easier for devs to aim for hitting those performance markers than shooting for making the best looking game anyone has ever seen.

Both MS and Sony have expressed interest in 60fps performance going forward and the X and Pro already set a limit for 4k expectations this gen.

XboneX is doing 4k 30 now in a lot of games, can't really go lower than that with a full generational upgrade...plus they will be running on 7nm Rysen based CPU tech instead of jaguar.

This game was certainly used as ammo for launch title exclusives for the PS4 since at the time PS4 was lacking AAA exclusives for its first couple of years so cows were praising indies and F2P games.

To be fair both lems and cows listed every game the publishers announced for their line up during the launch time line.

The game never actually had any individual hype though. It's kind of how hermits give you random links to countless shovelware games when you ask them to list the best games on the platform.

NMS was supposed to be the biggest thing in gaming ever, so any indie game that can come even within the same orbit of quality is saying a lot
