PS4 is the best gaming hardware right now, even better than any PC

Sure, switch comes close with its portability and 1st party games, but Sony is still ahead. PC got "teh graphixxxx"?? Yeah, also got "teh moniezzzzz".

Dont get me started on PC, its SO expensive and NOT fun. Its also borderline cheating when playing shooters (rofl, mouse for aiming? Really? Just use a script while you are at it)

Even when PC manages to display better graphics, it is NOT worth it. You also need to worry about constant patches that usually taint the experience. Also, M/KB are a BAD controller; staying glued to a monitor ruins the fun. WHO wants to play next to a monitor 24/7. People get home tired from work or college and just wanna lay down and chill in their beds.

And dont even try to tell me PC gaming is cheap, as I know how to build one piece by piece, just the monitor+GPU+CPU are out of this world (lul?)

As for xbox, well, I have no words for that... thing. The only reason it sells is because MS pretty much MS gives them away, but lord, please dont even try to call it a gaming console, its more like a netflix machine.

Just enjoy Ps4 while it lasts, because who knows if next generation is gonna be as good. Its cheap, its good, and has the best games and price/hardware balance.

Don't knock PC now. The mighty Xbox brand gave in to PC, and maybe one day, Sony will pack it in too. There's far more to get out of PC than any console.

PS4 is more of a hassle than using a PC.

• It's loud, because it gets hot and has inadequate cooling.
• PSN is slow, very slow, like 10 years ago slow.
• Even when you get physical copy you still have to wait for patches to download from the slow-as-hell PSN. Steam will get you from zero-to-playing quicker than a PS4 in all cases.
• Graphics are lacking. No options.
• Frame rate is garbage - seriously who can be bothered to play games at 30 fps these days - have some self-respect.
• Sony ecosystem is restrictive.
• Sony makes you pay to play most games with online features.
• DS4 controller battery life sucks - PC has the advantage of allowing you to use any controller you want. Wireless is also no problem on PC.
• Sony's social features are lacking compared to things like Steam and Discord.

These are all facts. I know because I own a PS4 and a few gaming PCs (both high-end and mid-range). I am an authority on such matters and I am telling you that you are wrong in just about all things.

Don't worry about it though. You can be as ignorant as you want and still play games on your preferred platform.

Well, the PS4 is a narrow platform. Every game disc works without undue errors and every controller controls every game. There is a true first-party.

PC does none of those things, and there is no first-party. So designating it as a "platform" in the same sense is a miscategorisation.
