PS4 Is Going To Steam Roll Xbox 720! Sony Mislead Dev?

Sony greatly deceived 3rd parties this time around. Supposedly Ubisoft and Activision, as well as others were led to believe that the PS4 would be a low power A10 equivalent, that had access to 2GB of unified DDR3 ram.
Microsoft probably developed the Durango to exceed that.

I just think that this is not fair, even if Ubisoft and Activision were leaking information to MS, Sony should have been more honest. I expect the next Ubisoft and Activision titles to not use any additional PS4 processing power at all because of this. They were played hard.

I wouldnt like to say whether this is true or not, what i will say though is that i would pay good money for a real powerhouse console from sony if thats what they produced.

if thats true sony is in deep s*** we all want a power house not a dumbed down console thats prolly just as good as a ps3

If this is the true, and the method by which Sony gain an early advantage, I'm ambivalent. I'm impressed with the move's boldness (this strategic move, not the PS move), and at the same time I'm wondering about the ethics of this move. 

Even if this is just someone's imagination I'm suitably entertained. 

Doubt any of this is true. Sony needs developers to start on their games. They can't tell them specs are low while they're supposed to be developing for them. Also there's no way they would be that unprofessional, when they unveiled the concept to the developers. Developers have seen everything but the final consumer product most likely.

And apparently both had been getting leaks from inside AMD or something.

AMD FirePro W5000 (i.e. AMD Pitcairn with 12 CUs or 768 stream processors) will murder AMD A10 APU's IGP.

AMD Radeon HD 7850 with 16 CUs or or 1024 stream processors.

Meh, more rumours. Also it won't hurt thr Durange since most current rumours point them as being pretty damn equivalente so... at best, the first few Acti/Ubi titles will look worse on PS4 because of this, so kinda of a bad move by Sony honestly. Kaz went to far! :PDesmonic

If depends on how GCN 2.0 performs over GCN 1.x i.e. would there be fixes or design improvements?

Would GCN 1.x vs GCN 2.0 mirror the improvements between 5870 (Tick, 1st gen 40nm DX11.0) and 6970 (Tock, 2nd gen 40nm DX11.0).

AMD made improvements after about 1 year of 5870's release.

GCN 2.0 Bonaire Pro vs GCN 1.x Pitcairn Pro would be different to GCN 1.x Cape Verde XT vs GCN 1.x Pitcairn Pro.

On GCN 2.0 line, Hainan Pro (24 CU) is the next GCN 2.0 above Bonaire XT (14 CU). Hainan XT has 28 CUs i.e. 2X of Bonaire XT .
