Relax. You're a few months into a 7 year cycle. Since both consoles are both shit in terms of power, these 7 years will depend solely on exclusives. Anything can happen in 7 years.

@ghostwarrior786: I don't think Europe even got a price cut. At least not from Microsoft. It was only in the U.S. and only at certain retailers.

uk got a official price cut before any other country. throughout euro they are being heavily discounted and bundled with titanfall. the only 2 place xbox sells is uk and us, its pretty irrelevant everywhere else which is why m$ is doomed this gen because ps4 is 50/50 with x1 in uk and us (a little ahead but minor). m$ doesnt have japan, euro to fall back on if x1 losses market share in those 2 countries. x1 will not sell as much as x360, NO WAY

Gaming has never been a buy this or buy that, but not both, lol. 80+ million 360's were sold and 80+ million PS3's were sold. PS4 is at 7+ million, The Xbox One is at 4+ million. There is a damn long way to go and a ton of things can happen. No way is this gen decided in 6 months. That would be beyond naive to think so. The idea of a gen being over before the very first price cut, both consoles being sold everywhere and half a year in the gen is just plain stupid.

you want to compare titanfall to TLOU? TLOU is a much better game.

ediocre TPS zombie gameplay.. but better at cutscenes and graphics yes.

Titanfall is better at gameplay and competitive value.

I am pretty sure EU got the price cut first. I know they got a 100 euro less titanfall bundle before they started popping up here.

This was a price drop by retailers and not Microsoft. So it's not an official price cut. It's far, far, from being doomed. Everyone said the same thing about the PS3 and that was in worse shapre then the XB1 is now. I think the XB1 will be fine once Microsoft does an official price cut and releases the system without the Kinect. With all the new IP's and exclusive coming out, gamers would be foolish not to pick up a cheap XB1. The system still have over 30 countries to release in including China.

Ok, I looked it up. The only price cut that was officially done by Microsoft was in UK and not all of Europe.

Of course they did the price cut in the U.S. as well, but that was only for 2-3 weeks. The price for the Titanfall Bundle now is back to $500 along with the original unbundled XB1. Any price cuts that were done outside of the UK in other European countries was done by their own retailers.
