PS3 version of AC: Revalation include original game. 2 games with 1 price

This isnt something new to the PS3 now, many multiplats been doing this for a while and is truly worth it as you get 2 games with 1 price on 1 disk! Today the company announces that the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed: Revelations will include the original game on same disk. for those like me that never played the first game this is just great news.

note more games will have this also with BF3 and Bioshock infinit both will include a free game only on PS3.

yet another superior multiplat on the PS3!

Walmart's doing that. If you preorder Batman: Arkham City, you get Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition. :)

Played and own the first one, it was, erm, "pretty bad" :P

AC1 isn't bad, it just got really repetitive. If you played ACII and/or Brotherhood then you probably wouldn't enjoy it alot, because AC2 was a huge improvement over the first.

AC1 isn't bad, it just got really repetitive. If you played ACII and/or Brotherhood then you probably wouldn't enjoy it alot, because AC2 was a huge improvement over the first.

Think Uncharted 1 to 2 level improvement TC.

Original game remains as a title I never finished because it was really that bad. Thanks, but no thanks Ubisoft.

Sony likes to add additional content on the disc rather than timed exclusive DLC, I wish they'd get more praise for doing this from gaming publications. Next I believe they made a deal with 2K Studios to include Bioshock 1 with Bioshock Infinite

I believe its the Battlefield 1942 downloadable game. But regardless I like their approach to multiplatform games, gaming sites will talk about how the timed exclusive DLC would be a reason to own the 360 version over any other but including a full game is apparently meaningless...sad really.

Great news. I've been debating picking up the first game again for a long time now, so I might as well jump in and take the opportunity with this when it hits the half way price.

At least I can have all the console titles on my PS3 now

Back when I was a teenager with no money, I had a 360. And since I didn't have many games to choose from due to my lack of income other than my parents, I played every game as long as I could. Beating them all.

....Except for AC:1. Which bored yet fascinated me to no end. I could run around killing guards for a while, but when it was time to sit down and eavesdrop for a mission I was bored to tears. That game was honestly just an experimental canvas for Ubisoft to try something innovative. They learned their lessons and made future installments great.

But while its hard to complain about a "free game", this really means nothing to most of us.

4 years later and I've still never finished the original

I didn't really like the first one, but its a really nice addon for the ps3 version to have.

Original game remains as a title I never finished because it was really that bad. Thanks, but no thanks Ubisoft.

Overrated and disappointing IMO.

Brotherhood performed like garbage on the PS3. The choppy framerates when free-running through the city compared to the 360 version was horrid. I had to return it. Hopefully Revelations is better. Also, I don't get the hate for AC1. Sure, it's short, but it's not nearly as bad as most posters make it out to be. I finished it with no problem.

This is actually a great news for me because my PS3 won't take any Assassin's Creed 1 disc anymore for some weird reason. And I wanted to play the first game again recently.funsohng

Game can be easily picked up for well under £5. Amazon New and Used Assassins Creed Classics Edition £1.27, Platinum Edition £3.74.

But you have got a point... could have got a sandwich for that. Man PS3 owners got it GOOD. It would have been a good sandwich, it would have had cheese in it and I could have put it in the microwave... it would have melted :cry:.

This is good news.

Gives another reason to play the first again. You have to know about Altair if you want to know the full plot.
