PS3 owners...do you have a Wii?

I love my PS3, but can definitely see the appeal of a system with motion control gaming. Would picking up a Wii now be a bad idea? I see that PS3 has its "Gem" technology due out in Spring 2010, which isn't too far off.

Should I wait, or do you find your Wii to be a worthwhile investment as well?

To be honest I've had a wii, and right now I have the other three platforms, Wii is definitely the weakest IMO

Also, I really don't think the Gem will be good. Sure the technology will be great, but it will be a lot of money, and most devs won't develop games for it. I could be wrong though...

I have a PS3 and a Wii I frankly can't see a way to not have both of them.

My PS3 is my main console this generation but the Wii is fantastic as a secondary console for niche and multiplayer games. The majority of all people don't like these niche games though so I'm not sure if you would enjoy a Wii like I do.

I don't own a Wii for motion-controls though, I actually find that more of distraction in most games.

I dont have a wii and dont think i'll ever get one, as for the Wand or the Gem technology i'll probably get it at some point and try it out

I own a Ps3 and a Wii, and it's a great combination. I can't enjoy all the multiplats and PS3 exclusives, and have my Wii for the always amazing Nintendo first-party titles.

I have a Wii and I like a few games on it. Right now NSMBW is pretty damn fun with others.

Just stick with the ps3 unless you are very much interested in the wiis exclusives. I see no point in buying ti just for motion controls .-.

Plan to get a Wii when The Legend of Zelda is closer to release. Then I can enjoy that, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 and Metroid: Other M.

I have a Wii, it's a nice machine...It depends on what kind of gamer you are. I have many, many friends that only have a 360 or PS3, or have a PS360, but don't have or want a Wii.

So, I guess it comes down to your taste in games. I don't play the Wii as much as my other machines, but that's more because the lack of online, poorly implimented online, lack of HD, and huge lack of multiplats. I do play as many good exclusives as I can though. Not nearly enough compared multiplats like Batman, Borderlands, GTA, Tekken 6, Blazblue, Streetfighter 4, etc. You name the multiplat, most likely it's not on Wii.

The PS2 when it was popular in it's day got the multiplats (SF, GTA, etc), the Wii is like the Gamecube when looking at 3rd party support. So when people compare the Wii to the PS2, I never will understand that.

Good machine, but like I said, it depends on what kind of gamer you are. My lady plays it too, so I tell her it's for her sometimes.

I have a Wii. I have way too many PS3 game begging for attention, but i do find time for some quick fun rounds of Wii Sports Resort. The motion control on that game is alluring and fun. But it wont be long before the PS3 motion control ( and Natal )comes out and i think my Wii will become obsolete at that point,

have all three...i enjoy the wii for the nintendo first party, quirky third party exclusives, and local multiplayer.

If you play your way wii more so than 360 and ps3, then it gives a pretty good idea of the types of games your into.

well my sister just brought a wii, still not open yet, we might return it cause she is unsure that she can pay for it, wii+ wii fit plus = a lot of money lol

PSWii is my main combo right now, and so far it's been pretty good.

I don't own a wii per se, yet I have 3 wiimotes (two really sick black ones from asia) and the ability to play wii games. They system is good, but not great. I wouldn't recomend spending 200 dollars on it, maybe if it was 150 or came with a game or two.

Nope but I played out all the games I wanted to play with my friends Wiii like LoZ:TP, SSBB, SMG, etc, so I kind of lost hype for it.

Yep, and it's a decent console, just isn't the best to me.

Don't get the Wii just because it makes use of motion controls. Look at the library of games the Wii offers and see if anything interests you at all. There are a few games out there where the motion controls are used a little bit, but not overdone; like Super Mario Galaxy. Avoid what it referred to as shovelware and you'll be fine.

I myself own a Wii and there are more than enough games on that console to keep me using it. Again though, I can't stress this enough, don't buy the console unless there are enough games that interest you.

I have A PC, 360, PS3, and Wii.

I rarely use my Wii and only occasionally use my PS3.

Oh no I've played it before. I've played SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, and some things on Wii Sports. Definitely the last console I'd ever buy
