PS3 is fun to rent, but 360 is fun to keep.

I am one of the lemmings that played Uncharted 2. I borrowed my friend's ps3 and beat UC2 after a few days. While UC2 was enjoyable, it definitely does not meet the hype. Especially since cows act like it poops all over 360's exclusives. Once I was done with ps3's supposedly "best" game, the online experience could not keep me playing.

I use my 360 like I use a cell phone. I am always in a party talking with my friends even when I'm playing a single player game or in the main menu switching discs. On 360, you're connected your friends as soon as you turn on the console. With multiplats like BC2 and exclusives like Halo Reach, there is no reason any MP gamer should not have a 360.

tldr: I got all the benefits of being a Manticore by buying a 360 and borrowing a ps3.

The 360 is a better rent, then you are less likely to notice the small annoying things such as replacing controller batteries, ms points as currency, xbox live gold that has not been worth the price since early 2009, red ringing, etc.

Hardware fails on 360 and software is based off of taste, which the ps3 has a more diverse offering.

Blu ray also gives an edge for the PS3, storage wise ( i know im stating the obvious). One of the main reasons (i think, but not sure. Sorry if wrong) why MGS4 is not on 360. Plus I've never played any MGS game until 4. And I'm still on my first playthrough of the game.

i can sort of see where you're going with this, the only PS3 titles i've bought thus far are killzone 2, (greatest hits 25 dollars is a good deal) Demon's Souls ( full price) and GOW 3 ( full price) that's basically it, all the other games, heavy rain UC 2, infamous, LBP, I rented or borrowed from a friend and was done within a week.

Although I am meaning to pick up UC 2 when the price drop so I can get back to owning some people in the multiplayer.

Resistance 2, I played multiplayer for maybe 2 weeks with my clan for the gigs, most boring thing ever, the imbalance between the SHarpshooter and the rest of the guns is laughable.

Ratchet looked really stupid, and I was never a fan of those type of games before either.

MGS 4 I borrowed from a friend as well.

yeah i agree, UC2 multiplayer doesn't keep me going back for more, as a games collector, i buy games, not sell them,but games like GOW3,UC2. infamous and heavy rain would be fitting as rentals, unless your after the DLC, i have had my halo 3 disk since 2007, never would i once THINK of trading it in, one of the best multiplayer experriences around, as for KZ2, its a matter of preference, if you like the multiplayer, keep it, if you dont, then sell it or keep it

really? well for me 360 isnt even worth renting. more like worth to look at its box at retail and thats about it :) ;). but PS3 is the real fun to keep. i can do it too ;)

Usually superhero comics keep some sort of realism, he would either suck the car battery dry or essentially make it blow up. I mean they could add driving cars into the game, but it would only hurt your character, and you'd lose some civilians car you hijacked.

While it is somewhat a matter of opinion, I would argue that in terms of polish and so on, Uncharted 2 does indeed "poop all over 360 exclusives". I played the MP for MANY hours and I loved the SP. It is possibly the best game this gen. Oh and Bad company 2 is on PS3 as well, so what you listed was Halo. And that would be correct, as that is about all 360 is good for. BTW you should be ashamed of having the G Man as your avatar and boasting about the 360 (PC beats the crap out of it).

My ps3 is the hub of my entertainment center. I play games, watch movies/netflix, stream music. It's an all around bad *** piece of equipment. My 360, when I had it, was far less useful, and I got rid of it. The games just didn't measure up. Different strokes.

1.) Usually people want series/franchise to stay the same with minor changes instead of a game in the series becoming completely different. Series/franchises sometimes get bashed for keeping a formula, but that formula is why the fans liked it in the first place.

2.) I honestly don't see how that would improve the gameplay at all.
