Predict the $$$ of PS4 and XBOX One

£299 - £399 for both.

PS4-$400, $450, $500 sku's

Xbone-$299 with contract, $449 skus

I'm guessing entry prices not higher end SKUs

These systems look like they cost $600-700 both will try for the $400-$500, but they'll be taking some loses. X1 with all its fees will make up for it, but if SONY doesnt have some sort of fee for PSN, they be taking losses again.Nengo_Flow

I think if they go above $500 bundled with a game, they'll have a hard time against the WiiU.

Also I think the price of the next xBox peneds on how much is live gold exclusive. If stuff like the cloud require a gold membership, they can sell the hardware cheaper

I include the price of Live in the cost of owning an XBox.  Hence, I cannot predict how god mcfreaking awful expensive the damn thing will be this time around.

Realistically MS should really undercut the PS4 on price, with all the fee's they'll get from all their anti consumer practices

Are really expecting just a straight up repeat of 7th gen pricing? I really doubt Sony will make that mistake again of a $600 console. It's not like blu ray drives cost as juch as they did 7 years ago. No reason for PS4 to cost as much as PS3 did at launch.

$400 is the sweet point for both, and both will take a hit on the initial system sale being a loss, IMHO. DDR5 and Kinect 2.0 probably add enough extra to warrant a genuine $500+ for both systems. But $400 is the logical sweet spot and both will hit it.

450+$ for both

I spoke to a manager and a regional manager at Gamestop who both seem to think that the Xbox One is going to cost a bit more this coming generation, but nothing too substantial.

All three of our predictions were either a $399 and a $499 sku or $449 and a $549 sku for the PS4, and our guess for the X1 was unclear however we all pictured it a bit higher due to some of the things being bundled with the console.

We did talk over the fact it could be subsidized as well however.

However from when I previously talked to them and they told me that they were worried about the nextbox used games situation, they both feel that there is not a huge concern with either X1 or PS4 now and the regional manager told me he had a meeting about next gen policies in a few days. He said we could talk again after that... ;)

Sony said no big losses on PS4 sales.

$400 for the cheap PS4 model. And $250 for X1 will a 2 year contract. We can bet the X1 will be having some sort of contracts and subsidization.Nengo_Flow

Sony already said no major losses on sales of PS4s. We will have to see what that means for pricing.

They will take a loss, but not $100s on each system. That are pretty set on that. Microsoft can eat the losses. Sony plans to turn a profit this year even with the new console launch....

seriously tho $399 - $599 for x1, why will probably have a sub model where you pay like 2 or 3 hundred than then like $15 a mo for like 3 yrs.

The only way you see $300 price range is if there is a subsidized unit like what is done with cell phones where you are on a contract for 2 to 3 years.

I'd like to see £349 for the PS4.

Xbox One comes with the new Kinect. That thing aint gonna be free. Also the X1 big box looks like it has stuff inside that has nothing to do with gaming lol
