No, Im not a JRPG fan. I like action and boys that look like boys.seabiscuit8686You like boys. I'm just kidding. I'd buy FFXIII if it came to the 360. I love Final Fantasy.

I really dont know, when i had a ps2 (for 2 months) i played FFx and really didn't like it
so i'll need more info on 13 before i even think about picking it up

I would... if I ever got through with Mass Effect, which I'll probably play 4 times at least :D
*BlueHazy, your sig is excellente :)Â
Probably not. I'm a lot less of a fan of JRPGs than I used to be, and as such it would be kind of a waste of money. Only PS3 exclusive I'm excited about is MGS4, and only because MGS3 was such a good game
Y'know what I hate about FF games? They over-rely on potions and phoenix-downs, building many fights and bosses around the idea that you'll have to use them at specific times, etc. So if you go through a long section to find the boss who, at your current level, is virtually impossible to defeat without having so many phoenix downs, and you don't have that many? You're screwed. Pull up an old save, go get whatever you need, then come back.
This applies more than to just phoenix downs. Just an example.

not if you grind alot :) if you buy an FF game you should expect to spend about 40%+ of your game time grinding, and i usually use spells over items :DÂ
Â
and your damn right i would buy ff13.Â

Re: spells, right, but if you haven't obtained the spell to resurrect someone (forget the term the FF franchise uses for it), you're stuck with phoenix's. Time-grinding has its places. But I don't want to spend 40% of a game running around in an area trying to find baddies to kill so I'll be powerful enough to go start the next phase of the story. For example, when I played FFX. I managed to get through the campaign until I was finally ready to take on Sin. But I just wasn't powerful enough to do it. I must've gotten lucky, somehow making my way through the rest of the campaign as under-powered as I was. So I drop myself in an area and spend something like 10-15 hours just fighting to level up so I can get what I needed to go after Sin. It all got very boring.Y'know what I hate about FF games? The whole point of the game is manipulating your attacks, magic, and item use to beat the bosses. Sure you can beat most of the foes by just doing a regular attack now and then and just spamming potions and pds but its pretty stupid. Plus its an RPG, you are supposed to level up as you see fit. You aren't supposed to be able to beat the game on with level 1 characters. The games can be as easy or as hard as you choose them to be.Â
